Hi Everyone!

Happy Saturday to you all.   I am going to change my last avatar And was needing some advice as to which avatar would be best to change to. I have chosen 5 avatars that look very able to win against any foe. They are:

Hairy Scary Big Foot,  Centaur,  Merlin,  Barbarian & Treasure Hunter.

When & how could they be the most useful?  I want to start playing more dice games especially against the dragon.  Is there a thread that tells how to use each avatar?  BTW that hint about the dice guy moving his finger on his right hand was awesome. You people take this game way too serious for me. LOL  I had no idea this game was so intricate, and how changing this or that can make a difference in how hard or easy the game becomes. Thank you all for sharing all of this information.

Also, for my new game with Kodi, What are the items to ask for on my wish list that will help me be ready for the fall event?

Thank you.

Avatar selection makes no difference in your chances to win while playing dice.

Some players have their favorite one, one they think brings them better luck. Others have tried that one and not gotten any different results.

Basically, you will win at dice about 43% of the time.

Regarding the changing of that final avatar in the current CC.....please be absolutely sure you really want to make a change before you select a previous avatar. If you later change your mind, the Man with Cane will not present as a selection in the CC task area if you decided later to change back to that one.

I have found pairing any knight against the wise dragon is good - also the new guy with the weird hat has been said to work well.

From my experience, for the Iron Knight - using a version of Anabele wins more often than others. (there are a few avatars with her.)

And visa versa- with Anabele, using the Iron Knight works more frequently than others. (He is an achievement you have to earn through winning with him).

Don't know the rest yet - will have to experiment to see.

I also wonder what it would be for challenger to play against himself - i.e. - the Iron Knight against the Iron Knight. lol

I might have to try that when I have money to spare. :)

Using these versions, I very rarely lose all three games, most of the time win two, and sometimes win all. :)

Totally agree with AEGram ---- the avatar selection makes no difference at all ---=- and 43% is quite accurate.

There are no "signals" from the dealer, no "tells", and no differences from one avatar to the next.

Nevertheless......it's still fun to look for a "tell" ....... to change avatars in "hopes" of a change. LOL

I had the absolutely not scary conductor up when I went to battle the dragon, and I won all three on my first try.

As others have said, it really doesn't matter which Avatar you use.

OK. Let's take Dragon off the table. Which of my choices is the strongest for most anything? Has anyone used these avatars?  If yes for which one and when did you use them?

In reply toRe: msg 5

Well, of course it is ---- sometimes if I get disgusted with how things are going I will exit and re-enter the game ---- even though I know for sure that it will change nothing by doing so.

When I first started playing, I would read in the old BF Forums about "tells" and changing avatars and looking for "signals", etc. and even then it reminded me of people I know who play slots (Vegas or wherever) and are convinced that their "special" way of playing actually influences their results. Well, of course, it doesn't ---- but the belief that it does makes the slots more fun! (a special machine, a special place on the casino floor, a special time, a unique way of pressing buttons or selecting play modes).

Same thing here ---- some truly believe that "tells", etc. exist ---- so that makes it more fun!

It doesn't matter is the point. Pick whichever Avatar you like. One day you'll win, one day you'll lose. I have never gone to battle over dice worrying about which Avatar I use. I use whichever one I happen to be displaying that week.

I have never tried any of those avatars in any dice games, JB1 -

but I have found that the achievement won avatars - Iron Knight, Pirate Girl - win more than lose, with a higher ratio of wins than other avatars used.

It makes sense that an avatar won as the third reward would do that though, and that is what I'm trying to do - win the achievement won avatars given thru dice games.

So far I have two of them. :) Those mentioned above.

Pirate girl is an achievement won by getting gold chests from pets - the third prize given - and has also given me great results in dice games, winning more than losing - I would say at a 75% win/ 25% loss ratio. I used her against the innkeeper and the Iron Knight (when I was working toward getting the Iron knight avatar).

Same with Iron Knight avatar when paired against Anabel - more wins than losses. (am working right now to get the achievement won Anabel avatar.)

I'm not sure there is an avatar that wins over all of them, though a few have said the ice queen (or snow queen) is good for that - and I have had success with using her.
