Round 5...……………….

Blackening (is a traditional wedding custom performed in the days or weeks prior to marriages in rural areas of Scotland and Northern Ireland. The bride and/or groom are 'captured' by friends and family, covered in food, or a variety of other - preferably adhesive - substances, then paraded publicly for the community to see)

Clowns in Church On the first Sunday in February there is a church service held every year at the Holy Trinity Church in Dalston, East London, where the congregation is comprised almost completely of CLOWNS.Clowns appear in full motley and slap for the Grimaldi Memorial Service, to which the public are warmly invited. The Clowns transferred to Holy Trinity in 1959. It is here that the occasion has grown to its present proportions; the Church packed to bursting point and the proceedings covered by all the media. The event really came into its own when in February 1967 Clown Smokey succeeded in gaining permission for Clowns to attend in full motley. Clowns from all over the World, irrespective of religious convictions, attended in full "slap" (make-up and costume). They give thanks for the gift of laughter and honour the "father" of present day Clowns, Joseph Grimaldi. After the Service it is traditional for the Clowns to entertain the public in the adjacent school.

Gluhwein - It is a traditional drink during winter in Northern Europe, especially around Christmas

Honesty Shopping (Tiny little shops in the middle of the Swiss Alps share the idealism of this society in the form of honesty shops. These are little shops that allow you to buy your fresh cheese, milk, bread, honey, and butter without anyone there to watch you indulge in the delicious dairy products of the area. In fact, most of the day, no one watches these shops because they are owned by farmers who are out taking care of the animals, so all you do is leave your money behind in a little basket)
