After refueling at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, the Super Constellation was en route to Clark Air Base in the Philippineswhen it disappeared. I always remember the Summer Olympics were held in Mexico City because a girl I went to school with (Susie Shields) participated at the age of 16. She won Bronze in the women's 100-meter butterfly swimming event.
