Yang Li (is a Chinese stand-up comedian and scriptwriter. Most known for her iconic punchline on the male psyche, "How can he be so average, yet so full of confidence?", Yang rose to fame in a Chinese stand-up comedy competition series Rock & Roast. Tackling controversial gender issues with humor and sarcasm, she received outpouring support as well as overwhelming backlash, stirring up a fierce online debate. The catchphrase "average-yet-confident" went viral on the Chinese social media platform Weibo and became one of the most popular memes among feminist internet users in 2020. Meanwhile, male netizens have accused Yang of "sexism" and "man-hating", provoking gender opposition and promoting hatred against men. Critics have characterized Yang and her followers as unreasonable feminists who demand privilege, while supporters defend Yang to be articulating the female perspective silenced in a patriarchal society)

Zoey 101 - is an American comedy drama television series created by Dan Schneider for Nickelodeon and originally aired from January 9, 2005 to May 2, 2008. It focuses on the lives of a teenage girl Zoey Brooks (Jamie Lynn Spears), her brother Dustin (Paul Butcher), and her friends as they attend Pacific Coast Academy (PCA), a fictional boarding school in Southern California. It was nominated for an "Outstanding Children's Program" Emmy in 2005. Zoey 101 was the most expensive production ever for a Nickelodeon standard, as it was shot completely on location in Malibu. The series won three Young Artist Awards, two Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards and a Neox Fan Award. The entire series is currently available for purchase on DVD and on digital stores online, such as iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, and Paramount+.
I was going to include a video of the opening from YouTube, but I can't get it to work. It's just giving me a blue line and nothing else.

Round 3............................
Aristophanes (was a comic playwright or comedy-writer of ancient Athens and a poet of Old Attic Comedy. Eleven of his forty plays survive virtually complete. These provide the most valuable examples of a genre of comic drama known as Old Comedy and are used to define it, along with fragments from dozens of lost plays by Aristophanes and his contemporaries. Also known as "The Father of Comedy" and "the Prince of Ancient Comedy", Aristophanes has been said to recreate the life of ancient Athens more convincingly than any other author. His powers of ridicule were feared and acknowledged by influential contemporaries; Plato singled out Aristophanes' play The Clouds as slander that contributed to the trial and subsequent condemning to death of Socrates, although other satirical playwrights had also caricatured the philosopher. Aristophanes' second play, The Babylonians (now lost), was denounced by Cleon as a slander against the Athenian polis. It is possible that the case was argued in court, but details of the trial are not recorded and Aristophanes caricatured Cleon mercilessly in his subsequent plays, especially The Knights, the first of many plays that he directed himself. "In my opinion," he says through that play's Chorus, "the author-director of comedies has the hardest job of all.")

Jack Benny - Benjamin Kubelsky (February 14, 1894 – December 26, 1974), known professionally as Jack Benny, was an American entertainer, who evolved from a modest success playing violin on the vaudeville circuit to one of the leading entertainers of the twentieth century with a highly popular comedic career in radio, television, and film. He was known for his comic timing and the ability to cause laughter with a pregnant pause or a single expression, such as his signature exasperated summation "Well!" His radio and television programs, popular from 1932 until his death in 1974, were a major influence on the sitcom genre. Benny portrayed himself as a miser who obliviously played his violin badly and claimed perpetually to be 39 years of age.

Rodney Dangerfield - (born Jacob Rodney Cohen; November 22, 1921 – October 5, 2004) was an American stand-up comedian, actor, producer, screenwriter, musician and author. He was known for his self-deprecating one-liner humor, his catchphrase "I don't get no respect!" and his monologues on that theme. He began his career working as a stand-up comic at the Fantasy Lounge in New York City. His act grew in popularity as he became a mainstay on late-night talk shows throughout the 1960s and 1970s, eventually developing into a headlining act on the Las Vegas casino circuit. His catchphrase "I don't get no respect!" came from an attempt to improve one of his stand-up jokes. He tried "I get no respect," and got a much better response from the audience; it became a permanent feature of his act and comedic persona.
Rodney Dangerfield delivered so many jokes that night, Carson had to break for commercials. Originally aired September 2, 1974 on the Tonight Show.02:01 "Whe...

Foster Brooks (was an American actor and comedian best known for his portrayal of a lovable drunk in nightclub performances and television programs. Brooks regularly appeared on The Dean Martin Show television program in the 1970s (for which he garnered an Emmy Award nomination in 1974) as well as many situation comedies, talk shows (including The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson), and a few films. His signature routine was the basis of a hit comedy album titled Foster Brooks, The Lovable Lush, released in the early 1970s. As his "Lovable Lush" character, Brooks usually portrayed a conventioneer who had had a few too many drinks — not falling-down drunk, but inebriated enough to mix up his words and burp to comedic delight. Brooks is best remembered for his appearances on The Dean Martin Celebrity Roast during the 1970s, where he roasted other comedians, such as Don Rickles, Johnny Carson and Lucille Ball, and serious public figures such as writer Truman Capote, consumer activist Ralph Nader, and former vice president Hubert Humphrey. During his period of greatest fame, Brooks rarely drank. Of giving up drinking to win a bet in 1964, Brooks said, "A fellow made me a $10 bet I couldn't quit, and I haven't had a drink since. At the time I needed the $10.")

He was also one of Louisville's favorites - born and raised here.
He had an older brother Tom who starred on the local afternoon show T-Bar-V Ranch for kids. I remember every afternoon watching "Cactus" (as he was called) and Randy Atcher. It was a local show where kids could celebrate their birthdays.
