I downloaded Seekers Notes but it wouldn't open for me to play it somehow.

Really? I’m sorry that happened. I have no idea what could be wrong.

Hi, was excited to try out the G5 games (didn't like Steam), but the Hidden City app wouldn't load on  my PC, Windows 10.  So I gave up.  Too old, too tired to do an all day investigation when my equipment meets all stated requirements for the game.

That's such a shame because Hidden City is a beautiful game.  I play on Windows 10 and I think Hidden City was in the Microsoft Store App.  I wish I could help, but I'm just not very good technically.

I have been playing Hidden City every day - and I like it okay - but I think I like Sherlock better.

It is the same setup as Hidden City - has events and gifts to open, etc - but what I like is that it is historical mixed with fantasy. Basically Moriarty (Sherlock Holmes's nemesis) has gone into beloved classics and fairy tales and screwed things up. Sherlock, Watson, or others must enter the books (which are HOS) to investigate the mystery and rectify matters. The books you can travel into include Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, Around the World in 80 days, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - and more. And of course, Sherlock Homes' mysteries, the first being The Hound of the Baskervilles - (you unlock the stories by reaching levels, and each story has 3 HOS scenes to go into). It's made by the same people who did Hidden City (and Wanderland?) so I don't need to tell you the graphics are very good.

Right now the event takes place on a mysterious Island, involving Captain Nemo and the Nautilus. :)

Whereas Hidden City has a map to navigate - this is more simple with a 19th century library - and each rack of books is a different story/adventure.

If anyone is playing this let me know - I need friends! lol (in both games really).

Also, you have an option with every HOS - to play it, or a Match 3 game.

I am not sure. I stream Netflix and Amazon Prime, but have to be careful. I have never gone over. They permanently increase your monthly fee if you do.  Sorry. I just prefer to play downloaded games. That way I don't have to worry.

If you are on pc, try the Microsoft Store. I just did a search for Sherlock and it was the first one. Free. It's also on my Android Games. Also free.

If it's okay to post the URL here - this is the one I used:

https://www.g5e.com/games/g5store/browser

And yes, they are all free to play. :)

They do have ads to buy stuff - but that's expected with ftp games.

Also - in Hidden City right now the event going on is a mystery involving the circus! fun - (I like this one better than the last event they had. lol)

With Steam - you need to download the Steam app to play it - I love playing games from their site, and they are often so much cheaper (when on sale) than Bigfish.

Here is the site and page for Panic Room- if you want an idea what it's about...

https://store.steampowered.com/app/436160/The_Panic_Room_House_of_secrets/

Panic Room and Panic Room 2 are both on there.

I just entered season 2 of Panic Room. :) And haven't paid a cent so far, so it really is free to play. Just takes a lot of time, friends, and patience - but if you play Midnight Castle, you already have a handle on that! lol

And I love playing their events - they are so versatile and frequent with great rewards for accomplishment!

Did you try playing directly on their site? They save your progress to cloud...

That's how I've been doing it- I don't have Windows 10 so can't download it.
