Anyone else having an issue with the Search function? There have been days when I type in a word or person to Search (when I know it's been used within at least the last week) and nothing shows up from recent posts. Today I typed in the word "frames" because there is an issue about them. I know that people were discussing the frames in several discussions when the new CC started yet none of these posts show up when I do the search. I only get 4 posts to show, 1 from Sept and 3 from Aug. 

I just tried "frames" and it only found the same 4 messages you described. Same for the word "frame". As  you said, there were several posts yesterday and today about the missing frames. 

I know yesterday I searched for messages from a particular person in the Advanced Search and it didn't find anything. I know that player has posted several times in the past few days. I just now tried it again and it still doesn't find any messages from that person. I double-checked and that player doesn't use a nickname. So something's up with that.

I do recall a couple years ago some of the people playing in our Alpha game having problems with the search not working correctly. I think it was determined that it didn't seem to find the things posted recently. 

Interesting ... I just searched for messages I've posted. The most recent one found was dated Sept. 12. And we all know I usually post several times each day due to playing the Alpha and Song Title games.

I'm not sure, but I think it only looks at the title.

Sorry, Susanna, but what you stated is incorrect.  See the images below for an example where I searched on "Trina".

It found 17 messages with "Trina" -

Messages found are displayed in the left column. Note the word "Trina" is in bold within the content of the message and not in the title. Also note that the most recent message has a date of Sept. 13. So something's going on with the search where apparently it's not seeing anything newer than the middle of Sept.

There have been reports of problems with search, I'll check things a bit more thoroughly and then ask gunter to add this forum to the report.

I've been doing searches in my forum on topics I KNOW have been discussed within the last 3 months.  Some I have to go back the the beginning of the forum to find, others I can't find at all.

Not sure if this helps but every time I do a search lately the latest date I get seems to be Sept 13th, no posts for after that date.
