I have been trying for more than 5 days to get Christmas stockings. 1 have 6 need 13. I will gladly repay my friends with other items. If I can just get past this stocking issue.

Stockings can't be gifted, they are one of the "floaties" that appear across the screen. There are 10 to collect:

Yes, to complete the CC task you need to collect 13 stockings. Now that we have some many different "floaties" is becomes quite tedious to collect them for the tasks. Took me many trips around the castle.

My mistake, I got confused with the items that drop from HOS.
