I gave out all my presents and ran out early.  I feel guilty going into Christmas rooms and accepting things without leaving a present.  What is the best way to build up my present inventory again?  Just completing the quests and working my way through the Castle and beyond isn't doing it.  I barely get any.

Does anyone have better success?  Any ideas?  Thanks fellow Castle lurkers.  he..he..he....

Have you tried trading with the kids for additional gifts? That's what I do.

Don't worry about that - you can only do what you can!  Your Friends understand and we have all been in that boat at one time or another.  For instance, on my iPad game, I'm only at level 36 so I don't have enough airship, stamps, or pet food items to gift unfortunately.  I gift what I can and everyone knows that!  I have a lot of diamonds because on the iPad you can earn 30 diamonds each day by watching 3 ads, so my rule of thumb is that if I can, I spend up to 5 diamonds to buy something for a Friend if I don't have it because I try to gift round and round regardless of whether they gift me first.

  Also, the gifts are completely anonymous during the Events so no one knows who is giving them a gift box.  But please don't feel guilty!

I believe LvlSlgr meant trading with the kids. Other than that, and just like we always say............do the rounds, do the rounds, do the rounds!!

Oops! You're right ... that's what I meant. I'll go fix that right now. (I shouldn't try responding when I haven't had any sleep.) 

Where I get the most gift drops is going through the seasonal event rooms but I think they drop from any HOS I just only have time to do event rooms during an event so that’s my experience.

I've noticed that they tend to come more frequently when playing the event rooms as well.

I've mentioned it before, but I believe the average is somewhere between 38-40 HOSs per 1 gift box. Of course, they come randomly and this is a statistical average. You may go through 100 rooms and get none followed by one coming nearly every HOS completed.

(I'm loathe to trade the kiddos for more because that's giving up 5 shards that I desperately need for Trina's quests. When I finish with Key Master, I'll be more inclined to give up precious excess event inventory.)
