Whoo Hoo!! Whoever came up with the Ice Breath hack is a genius!

Isn't that a great feeling? I was so thankful for all the folks who gave me ice breaths when working for mine that now I just always give them when they're on my good friends' wish lists even though I don't need them myself anymore.

Sorry to be a dimwit but what is the ice breath hack ? 

Some brilliant person figured out that we could put the Ice Breath object on our wish lists, other people could gift it. You can buy the Ice Breath for (I think) around 200 coins. When you are gifted the item you turn it into shards (to count towards the challenge) and gift it back by buying the item to the other person.

Now it makes sense! Thank you x

Hmmmmm, most people might agree with that statement. But, I'm not most people 

The swapping of Ice Breath relies on someone to be willing to spend the coins to purchase one for you and vice versa. 

For me, the absolute easiest thing was to just play, play, play, play the event rooms of friends....That gave me plenty of airship items to send them for DQs and Trina's quests as well as an abundance of excess event items that I could convert to shards for Trina's quests. It also gave me an overwhelming amount of coins, stamps and pet food....not to mention Magic Miser completion as a side benefit.

I had more than enough excess event inventory to get Magic Miser just by playing the Fall, Winter, and Spring events one time. 

Please, everyone, don't think I'm dissing the swapping of Ice Breath.

I'm just saying there's another way that (to me) is just as easy and gives me more in the long run.

I'm not most people either. I've done it the old fashioned way twice. I had to do it a second time when I lost my game and had to start over. Do a couple of HOSs and go to my private room and John's private room and grab those butterflies ... rinse and repeat as they say. And, like AEGram, I also disenchant excess event inventory when I can.
