Just because the WE is over does not mean you cannot get the eggs and items you still need to hatch the eggs.  The Consortium was formed to help you to do it. 

Go to The Consortium folder, input your request, Player name, ID#, and what you play on (PC, Android, etc.) and some member should invite you as a Friend so you can put your needed items on your Wish List.

This goes for any of the Events.
