I'm just leveled up to level 111. And suddenly some of the characters have blue exclmation points for quests to get Destiny Keys. But there's nothing with Professor Pinfeathers or the current character that indicates I need Destiny Keys for anything. Plus, I have over 100 of them. Is this a glitch or something in preparation for a later quest? Does anyone know?

Thanks, but that's not actually my question. I did that quest ages ago. I was wondering why my characters have blue exclamation points and are offering Destiny Key quests now, at level 111. I wondered if I'd missed a new quest somewhere.

I'm assuming you're current on all of the updates, right? But it sounds like you don't have everything "loaded". You might try this. Go to the Options menu and click on "Download Full Content". Hopefully, that will take care of your problem and Professor Pinfeathers will have something else for you to do.  Fingers crossed for you. 

Blue Key quests usually appear after the end of the content. The last update (Sept 2022) brought players to Level 118, since you're only at Level 111 it looks like you need to follow LvlSlgr's advice and download the rest of the content, unless you want to play the Blue Key Quests for a while.

As you already know, Destiny Keys and the associated Side Quests were a part of the game play during Levels 69-71. After that time, there's never, ever been a game reason for the side quests to reappear.

At the end of each content update the maxed players were left with less to "entertain" them while they waited for the next new content to be released. Many were working on achievements that involved doing HOS rounds to collect the necessary items to continue with the 3 DQ achievements and with Trina's associated quests: the achievements for Ace Assistant and Key Master.

Doing mindless rounds, as everyone knows, is incredibly boring, so the Devs activated the Side Quests at the end of each content update to give those maxed players something more interesting to do.....plus, if they hadn't gotten the Exclusive Pets from the Ghostly Chest, they could also collect more of the Destiny Keys to craft the Keys of Fate and open the GC.

As a result, as players now move through the game, they will temporarily see blue exclamation marks over characters heads. Sometime those side quests are activated a few tasks before the end of one piece of content; sometimes they appear only on that very last task (where players were left waiting). 

As soon as you accept the first task of the new content release, the side quests will immediately go away. ............It is for this reason that players need to be very careful to not have open any Side Quests as they continue to do character quests to level up. Sometimes, players are sent to the very character with whom they have an open Side Quest and the game cannot/will not advance. It is necessary to engage BF technicians for assistance.

Each point where new material is released is marked in the MC Game Guide to help players have a chance to close/complete any Side Quests before they continue with level advancement quests/tasks.

That's interesting. I did dowload full content. I checked for updates before I started playing. I see that there's been an update recently. If the Game Manager continues to tell me there are no updates, I'll uninstall and reinstall it. Perhaps that's the issue. Thanks, everyone.

Thanks! I'd forgotten about that side quest thing. I will check to make sure I've completed any I began before downloading the update.
