I've just got a question re the current Castle Challenge. The next challenge is to "complete 3 parts of daily quest". I assume that means that no matter what the quest is, I have to complete the first 3 parts of it . Seems obvious, but sometimes things on Midnight Castle are a bit more difficult! 

You're correct.

If you get a 3-part quest, you have to do all three parts to complete the task.

If you get a 5-part quest, you have to complete the first three parts to complete the task.

If you get a 10-part quest, you have to complete the first three parts to complete the task.

Or ... if you're not in a hurry and you get a Daily Quest that wants to send an Airship in the 2nd or 3rd part (or even the 1st part), you can always just let it sit until the next day and see if you get something better. I specifically said "send an Airship" because we just sent 3 of those and I know I don't want to send another one until I absolutely have to do it for the CC. There's not a time limit on how long you have to complete the CC for completing 3 parts of the Daily Quest. And since the next day is to "Feed pets 5 times," that will be an easy one for catching up if you get behind.

Hope I didn't confuse anyone.

Your assumption isn't correct. DoubleMsMom explained one way as did LvlSlgr.....specifically, you must complete 3 parts of ANY DQ. 

1. You can do the 3 first parts of any DQ you get...if it's a 3-part, you're done.

2. You can do the first part of the DQ that arrives today, but decide the second part is not what you feel comfortable doing.....Let that DQ flush from your computer when the new day starts and see if you get another more to your liking.

You don't have to do 3 parts from the same DQ or even on the same day.....you just have to complete 3 parts of any DQ before you can proceed to the next task when it unlocks. (You could do the first part of todays, the first part of tomorrow's, and the first part of Wednesdays....then you could do the feeding pets and earn 700 coins in airship area...or you could stop with the feeding of the pets if only the first avatar excites you.

Well I just learned something new!! Didn't realize it didn't need to be the same DQ. When I think about all those ghosts I chased during event CCs. 

Yep....just need to do 3 parts of any DQ -- the when and how is left up to the player.

Something I failed to mention in time for the "use 30 hints" task we recently had........Players can open an HOS, use a hint, close the HOS, open another (or same one) and use another hint............they don't need to actually play the HOS/scene. (They can also open an HOS and use several hints in that same HOS.)

I used a lightning flash every chance available....the game got "smart" on me ...or perhaps "smart aleck" and the next several HOSs opened in normal mode. 

Also....for those who have a bunch of diamonds....it only takes 1 diamond to refresh the "hint" button immediately.

I also have an abundance of the Lightning Flash, so I just went around the castle opening the HOSs.

Still working on the airship task, trying to match with Trina, but she's being a ______________ (fill in the blank)!

I'm sure she's being as difficult as she was with me. I had a lovely low airship sitting at the dock and a Trina quest ready to match up when the task was unlocked. I had 7 more of her quests without one for wheels before I got the 8th one that did request wheels.  .....5 of those 7 in between required visiting 50 scenes!!! 

What made it soooooo stressful was that I was still in the game when the airship returned. I was shocked to see one for 330 wheels and I reeeeeeeelllly wanted to take advantage of it because they come so few and far between for me. I continued trying to get another one for wheels until it was just too late for me to stay up longer......got up this morning to work on them for a couple of hours before I had to fix lunch, do dishes, change clothes and get out the door for an afternoon appointment. I knew I wouldn't be back before the delicious airship left.

I had almost become resigned to the realization that I'd lose the airship when that 8th one popped up. Breathing a big sigh of relief, I was!!!!

I've come up with a new definition for PTSD............Present Trina Stress Disorder!
