I work 12 hour shifts as a mental health support worker, and as much as I find playing MC relaxing, after 12 hours in work a few friends rooms is all I can manage when I get home. Any one else in the same boat as me ?

In my opinion, there are two important things to remember about this game.

One is that you should play it the way you want to play it and don't stress out over it. The second is that when you do have time to play, remember this game is a marathon ... not a sprint. Take your time playing or you'll burn yourself out.

I've been playing for almost 9 years. There have been times when I get very frustrated, but I learned to step back away from the game when that happens. Like I said ... a marathon.

Hi,

Yes it is a marathon, but for me it is a slow walk, and I do not care about being a walker. I have taken time out...even delated the game on a few occasion,  but all of us who have been playing since the start, I/we just want to see what happens next. But I am in no rush to finish first, and hope the game keeps us on our toes for a while to come.

I don't play every day like I used to back in the very beginning.  I do take long breaks between events these days and I no longer rush through the updates like I used to.  Many things have changed in the last 9 years and now that I have settled into my community and made other interests and friends that take me outside the house, my playing time has been much reduced.   Making the switch from a city of 5 million people to a small country town in  a completely new state where I knew only two people has had its challenges in getting to know people, but has been worth it in the long run.

I do hope you are enjoying you new life style...to me it sounds like heaven,

As for the game, I play only a few times a week on times, and sometime give it a miss for weeks on end, as like all of us we have a life.
