Has anybody noticed any Maintenance changes?   Welcome!

I just logged on (I haven't been on since Saturday) so I assume the maintenance has been done, but nothing seems to be better or new on my end...still get the Please Wait.  Anyone notice anything?

I played yesterday but had a small download the day before!

I haven't noticed any other mentions of maintenance....however, the BF Facebook moderator said it would be necessary to go to Game Manager and install a download upon reentry.

I found an update in my Game Manager....it was in my queue...I clicked to install the update, then launched the game.

What followed was a 22 chunk download followed by a 828 chunk ....when the game opened, all my progress in the game had been preserved as well as the eggs I'd collected from the event rooms.

I successfully played about 15-20 event rooms before my trigger finger gave out and I had to stop playing.

I had the same number for download, which to me is a large download.  Also opened the game with no problems.

ETA:  I didn't have the 22 chunk download, only the 828 one.

I was searching for info because at first I thought they got their dates confused.

I'm on Pacific Time (the clock they say they are using). I forgot about the maintenance and I had no trouble at all playing yesterday (the 20th), I logged in at 3 different times of the day, zero issues. I didn't notice an update loading, but did get a new Castle Challenge yesterday and completed the first day's challenge.

However, today when I tried to log on (around 2:30pm Pacific Time), I got the "Unable To Connect To Server" message.  ????

So, I checked their Facebook page.

According to their Facebook page, it should be in the "all clear" zone as of 5 hours ago:

Next, I checked the Game Manager, and, sure enough, there was an update to be installed.

As usual, it took about half an hour once I tried to log in again. As usual, it's a 2-part update (20 something items, then 828 items).

No problems for me after installing this latest update.

What was different was that I couldn't even connect to the server until I'd used the Game Manager installation. Interesting.

Remember to make a change to your private room (name, furniture or switch rooms and then switch back) and make a change to your Wish List. They say they fixed that glitch ages ago, but it easy to do these things and better safe than sorry. 

Checked game manager, got the update, 22 items then 811 items.  All good

Hi Lisa, the game was updated Monday morning, Aug 21st, 2023. I just opened it and played the Anniversary rooms, didn't have to update anything  even the Castle challenge opened (new). However, this afternoon all I have seen is it can't connect to the server...not sure what's going on...

NOTICED WHEN LOOKING FOR NEW PETS THAT ALL OF THE ONES I HAVE ARE NO LONGER ON THE LIST.   BUT COULD BE A GLITCH.

Huh need to do the update, which doesn't show on my Game Manager so have uninstalled and am reinstalling the game manager...sigh

I had problems with the update. It was in my queue as AEG said but when I tried to install it the install failed and the icon disappeared from the desktop. The error message indicated to go to the website and download from there which I did. It worked on the second try and everything seems ok.
