Just wondering if I am the only one disliking the new themes and disappointed with the new graphics, We were so spoiled with the previous Defs. Also, making objcts NANO sized is not the same as HIDDEN. Plus, it is really getting very expensive!

You aren't the first one to express a dislike of the "cats" theme. I'm absolutely positive it was because Elephant Games had debuted a new game that had cats in it at about the same time our most recent update was being created.

From what the BF moderator has said, Elephant Games still does the storyline, so they always have been and continue to be the developers. Big Fish publishes the game and has the final say so for when updates and events happen. Plus they have approval rights for the dialog and storyline, but they don't create it.

None of the objects have ever been really "hidden." They are only "hidden in plain sight." That said, some of the items in Twisted Mountain HOSs are incredibly small. I believe they've made them more reasonably sized in the Citadel. Hopefully, they will take to heart the requests of the players to make them more reasonably sized because most players are 65+ years old and vision isn't what it used to be.

Expensive? This update cost 315,200 coins .... Not expensive relative to past updates:

Update February 23, 2021 for Level 102-106 cost 344,040 coins
Update August 3, 2021 for Level 106-108 cost 317,200 coins
Update October 4, 2021 for Level 108-111 cost 339,050 coins
Update April 4, 2022 for Level 112-115 cost 356,650 coins

And the Update on June 30, 2017 for Level 76-78 cost 297,300 coins ....not the same but fewer levels 

Many players are sitting at max level for 3-4 months waiting for new content. During that time, they get the HOSs to max amount of coins/items to collect and have also increased coinage. But ALL players have the opportunity to get 250 coins from event rooms, so I'm sure the developers figure there's ample opportunity for all players to get sufficient coins to advance in the game.
