Ready for The Special Room (latest) Oh the Absurdity!

I received a message from Sebastien.
"The inmates of the Special Room are in danger.
Annaleise is furious."
I asked Sebastien to transport me back …
.. and was immediately bowled over by Big Kitty.
Sebastien helped me up and led me over to a chair. Blackie and Chris jumped up in my lap (not you, Big Kitty) and soon all three were purring. Becki came over and handed me a cup of coffee.
Sebastien pulled up a chair and sat down facing me. He then calmly filled me in on the situation with Adrian. But that was the least of his concerns.
Annaleise in her zeal to help me and the other inmates had pushed the management of MC too far. In order to recapture the inmates, and rid themselves once and for all of Annaleise and her “glitches;” they have decided to shut down all the access portals to the Castle. No longer would a player be able to immerse themselves in the world of MC. They would open the game, play, may spend some money, and leave. Midnight Castle would then become a simple game. Just like any other.
Or as Annaleise would say, boring.
And of the inmates of the Special Room? Even if they defeated Adrian, they would become frozen in time as the last portal closed. Their exploits will be there for future generations of MC players to read (if they are interested).
But unlike Sebastien, Becki and the other ghostly deleted players, there will be no one to come by to wake them up and bring them back to life.
There will be only oblivion. And Sebastien, for one, was having none of that.
“I can always send you back to the Real World. However, neither I, Big Kitty, the kittens nor the others can come with you. I have been practicing with the mirror, seeing if I can find a portal to a plane of alternate reality where our story can continue. The ghost players have been packing up the Secret Library in readiness to move on. And maybe Annaleise has one final major glitch up her sleeve.”
Annaleise appeared and smiled.
I looked at the three ghosts before me. I then looked around at the other inmates and wondered what they were going to do.

Where am I?
Who am I?
And what ON EARTH AM I WEARING?
The last thing I remember is a red cloak.
And a bunny.
I need answers. I need a place to find them. Also a sandwich.
Wait, no, it appears I am a ghost. I have no need for sandwiches.
But I still want to find that bunny.
And a better outfit.
Something tragic is happening. The world is at stake. I have to do something.
"OOH! I know! I'll write a poem!"
Something about awaiting the dawn...

I am be.... be..... be.... (rf. Pal Joey and Frank Sinatra!)
I had thought that the crumbling castle around our ears were forces of evil but not of such a diabolical kid as Adrian.
Even with Cap'n Bob and his troops in our sister Realm are insufficient to combat him in full combat mode.
I need to think!
AND I need to rescue a certain rabbit who I deposited last Spring for safe keeping with her brothers and sisters in my Spring Room!
So with a heavy heart as I sip my hong cha (so beautifully made by our new tea lady) I change my Spring Rooms to number one and call gently to the hidden bunny.
"Hoppyy, Hoppy wherever you are please come out now and let me take you to the Castle
"But first there is somewhere I would like us to visit before we go there"
A very shy but extremely intelligent smll hop-a-long emerges from behind her friends and leaps into my arms and smothers me with kisses. It is a year since we last met and our feelings are mutual.
There in the background amid all the flotsam and jetsam of HOS inventory is a small stone in the ground.
It is a highly polished tombstone, which the gnomes had made for me and is a beautiful piece of carved Carrera marble.

AM BREEZE THAT IS NOT TRUE. HAVE YOU GHOSTLY FRIENDS COME TO ME I MAY HAVE A WAY FOR THEM TO LEAVE HERE AND CONTINUE AS THEY ARE. BUT I WILL HAVE TO TELL THEM MY PLAN. IT WILL WORK. I KNOW IT WILL. I CAN FEEL IT WILL. I ALWAYS TRUST MY FEELINGS IN THESE THINGS.
SEBASTIEN, BECKI, ANNALEISE, AND MAYBE EVEN BIG KITTY I AM QUITE FOND OF HER.
NOW TELL ME IF YOU THINK THIS WILL NOT WORK. WE ALL GO TO THE ENCLOSURE WHERE THE PETS ARE. ASK FOR VOLUNTEERS FROM AMONG THE LARGER PETS. IF THE PET AGREE THEN ALL THE GHOSTS HAVE TO DO IS ENTER THEM DO NOT TAKE OVER BUT JUST STAY QUIET. WHEN WE LEAVE THE PETS GO WITH US. AND THUS THE GHOSTS. THE THINGS THEY HAVE PACKED IN THE LIBRARY CAN BE SENT AHEAD ONCE WE KNOW WHERE WE ARE GOING.
OH ANNALEISE I HOPE YOU CAN FIT INTO EGOR. YOU AND HE ARE PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER. HE LIKES TO CAUSE AS MUCH TROUBLE AS POSSIBLE.
I KNOW HE IS NOT VERY LARGE BUT IF YOU THINK YOU CAN I MIGHT JUST BRING HIM TO THE TEA ROOM. MAYBE NOT SINCE WE NEED PTG TO GET US OUT OF HERE. HE IS ABOUT OUR ONLY HOPE OF STAYING TOGETHER.

The devastating news reached me all the way in the kitchen. The world is ending! A new home is needed. But how?
PTG... I need to find him...
I pop into the dining room and look around - no PTG.
"Does anyone know where PTG is?" I ask. "I found a magic wand in the Potion shop when I was foraging but I don't know how to use it. I want to ask if he can still get in touch with his Fairy Godmother to see if she can do anything with it to help us."

HE SAID HE HAD TO DO SOMETHING AND LEFT. SORRY KATT I DO NOT KNOW WHERE HE WENT. BUT HE WAS THINKING OF A RABBIT. NOT CLEARLY BUT I DID GET A RABBIT. GRIM? OR ANOTHER I DO NOT KNOW. WHICH IS UNUSUAL HE IS USUALLY VERY LOUD AND CLEAR.
I THINK HIS MIND IS IN A MUDDLE SO HE IS NOT CLEAR. YOU MUST CONTACT YOUR FRIENDS WHO WERE GOING TO TAKE CARE OF THE CHICKENS AND LIVESTOCK FOR US. WE WILL HAVE TO TAKE THEM. OH, DEAR DO YOU THINK WE CAN FIND ENOUGH BASKETS OR CAGES FOR THE CHICKENS THE LIVE STOCK SHOULD JUST FOLLOW THE LEADER.

ANNA, DO YOU THINK THE LIONS WILL HELP BY TRANSPORTING SOME OF THE GHOSTS. IF WE CAN MAKE SOME CARRY SACKS MAYBE THEY WILL ALSO TAKE THE BOOKS AND SCROLLS.
THEY ARE PACKING THE LIBRARY FOR YOU. I AM SURE YOU NOTICED BOOKS AND SCROLLS MOVING. SAM CAN COME WITH ME OR DO YOU WANT HIM WITH YOU?

I NEED TO GET MY KNITTING FROM MY ROOM. WHERE THE ELVES HID IT. I THINK I SAY A GOOD SIZED CARPET BAG IN THE BEDROOM. I WILL NEED IT FOR THE WHITE WOOL AND THE COLORED BALLS THE ELVES MADE.
I WONDER IF THIS DESTRUCTION WAS THE REASON THEY LEFT SO SUDDENLY. I DO HOPE THEY AND ALL THE OTHER HELPFUL CREATURES FIND THEIR WAY TO OUR NEW HOME. THE THOUGHT OF NOT SEEING SALTY, OR THE ELVES AND GOOD GNOMES. AND THE OTHER FRIENDS LIKE HENRY. THEY MUST AT LEAST BE ABLE TO VISIT. IF NOT STAY.

I believed Katt was quite surprised when he chained it to one of her new tables!
Looking down at his notes, he then took out his mirror and concentrated.
He then disappeared . . .only to re-appear a few seconds later.
Smiling. He had found the portal to our new home.
He then picked up his notes and knelt in front of Charlie. . .
I HAVE NOW FOUND THE PORTAL TO OUR NEW HOME. ALL I HAVE TO DO NOW LEAD THE GHOST PLAYERS THROUGH THE PORTAL AND HAVE THEM SET UP A NEW SECRET LIBRARY. ONCE THE MIRROR IS SECURED THERE, I CAN USE THE SMALLER MIRRORS TO LEAD OTHERS THERE. "
AS SEBASTIEN WAS SPEAKING, HE BEGAN TO BE SURROUNDED BY EVERY CAT AND KITTEN IN THE AREA. FROM FAR OFF, I COULD HEAR A LION ROAR.
"I AM SURE THAT SAM CAN NOTIFY HIS MISTRESS THAT THE GHOSTS WILL BE HAPPY TO ASSIST HER IN HER PACKING. AS FOR YOUR ITEMS . . . THANK YOU GRAMMI G . . HERE IS YOUR CARPETBAG AND KNITTING YARN.
I BELIEVE IF YOU SEND OUT NOSE AND NIX WITH A MESSAGE, THEY CAN LOCATE YOUR ELVEN FRIENDS. THEY BECAME GOOD FRIENDS WITH NIX WHILE YOU WERE TRANSPORTING THEM.
THE OTHER INMATES HAVE PETS YOU MAY NOT HAVE MET BUT CAN ASSIST YOU. DOC POPPET HAVE TWO DRAGON COMPANIONS, CINDERS AND PUFF. AUNTIE ROO HAS A MONKEY NAMED FEZ. THERE IS A GERMAN SHEPARD NAMED TYREE WHO ANSWERS TO AN INMATE NAMED RIDDLER.
THE MESENGER PIGEONS YOU SEE FLYING AROUND BELONG TO PTG' S FAIRY GODMOTHER.
AND PTG HAS A PET OWL NAMES HOOTIE AND A RAVEN FRIEND WHO CAN COMMUNICATE MENTALLY.
I AM QUITE SURE THAT YOU WITH YOUR WAY WITH ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL WILL KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THEM."
SEBASTIEN PICKED UP HIS NOTES AND STOOD UP. THEN HE WALKED OVER TO ME.
" I HAVE TO BACK TO THE LIBRAY AND BEGIN THE MIGRATION. I WILL RETURN SOON. MEANWHILE, YOU WILL BE PROTECTED."
SUDDENLY ALL THE FELINES THAT HAD SURROUNDED SEBASTIEN WERE NOW SURROUNDING ME (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PRECIOUS AND SAM, WHO REMAINED WITH CHARLIE). ONCE AGAIN THERE WAS A FAR OFF ROAR.
SEBASTIEN DISAPPEARED. ANNALEISE REMAINED, STILL SMILING.
"I WONDER WHERE PTG AND HIS BROOM IS NOW?"

THEY ARE TURNING OUT TO BE MOST USEFUL ANIMALS,
THEY WILL TRANSPORT THE GHOSTLY MEMBERS OF THE ROOM AS WELL, BUT SUGGEST THEY HANG ON TIGHTLY AS THEY WILL NOT REALLY KNOW IF THEY LOSE ONE.
SAM WILL GO WHERE HE IS MOST USEFUL, HE IS GOOD LIKE THAT AND HAS A GRIN THE SIZE OF TASMANIA AT THE THOUGHT OF HAVING A GOOD TIME.
HE LOVES TO HELP AND HE IS VERY FOND OF KITTEN ERMINE AND BIG KITTY.
AS YOU SAY, SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME. SOME OF THOSE BOOKS ARE VERY HEAVY. I MOVED 140 BOOK CARTONS INTO THE SECRET LIBRARY AND HAVE ADDED MORE SINCE I ARRIVED. WHENEVER I MOVE, I NEVER HAVE TIME TO CULL THEM AND HOPE ONE DAY TO BE ABLE TO DO SO. I AM SURE THERE ARE DUPLICATES AND TRIPLICATES OF SOME. INSTEAD OF TAKING THEIR OLD BOOKS TO THE OP SHOPS, PEOPLE TEND TO DROP THEM OFF TO ME.
BACK TO WORK, REAL LIFE CALLS. MY FRIENDS WHOSE HOUSE DECIDED TO DROP DOWN A CLIFF ARE FINALLY MOVING INTO THEIR NEW HOME AND I NEED TO HELP TO REPAIR BOOKCASES.
