I'll start.
I have my annual birthday road trip planned, but every morning I wake up to a "Brave New World" situation, and I don't know if I'll be going anywhere.
I still can't find flour on the supermarket shelves.
I'm feeling pretty depressed.

Hi Jennifer: This is definitely a new world now! I just go out for meds and groceries, but will admit to being paranoid about that. My son has helped with groceries as 4 adults in the same house needs lots of food. Tempers do flare up at times, but doesn't last long as we realize we have to be in this situation for a long time. I am thankful to live in a house with room to escape as needed, have my computer to play MC, my t.v. and cell phone. What more do you need right? Can go out in the yard for some fresh air now and then (when it isn't snowing or cold). My sister lives in California and I do worry about her, but thank goodness for telephones! Didn't stock up on pkgs of toilet paper. Just amazed at what people hoard. Anyway, take care of yourself and I hope you can take that birthday trip sooner than later although later is looking like the norm.

I've settled into retirement here in Arizona, but I had started to feel a little guilty, like I should be doing something. Now I am doing exactly what I am told to do. Staying home. I go to the grocery store and to get cat food. Have to pick up refills on my meds at the pharmacy this week. My daughter in Seattle checks in regularly. (I worry, but who doesn't.) My sister is in Southern California with one of her sons is nearby, so I just need to check in periodically. A lot of places here are still doing food to go.

I'm retired in Arizona as well. We live in a semi-rural ara with wide open spaces so we're not in a crowded area. We did stock up so we would have plenty for a couple of weeks but there is also something needed like milk. Our daughter lives with us and has laid down the law that she will do the shopping and get whatever is needed. Since when does she get to tell us what to do? My son is in the Seattle area and I have some concern about him although he said he is fine. The rest of my family seems alright at the moment but there also concern. Anyway, there is plenty here to keep us busy. I hope you get to take your trip even though it might be later.

games Robert and Robert2 on PC. Pretty2, cutiepie, fred and wendy1 on Android. Michigan is not as bad off a some, yet. Officially laid off as Friday March 20. hopefully can still order dumpster and have it delivered. I have lots of house cleaning to do after Ma's death. I did not figure I would get to it till May. We were working six days a week till Wednesday March 18, when they cancelled the overtime and told us the 20th would be our last day.
If this is the new norm the hoarders will disappear and shelves will be restocked. There are no food shortages, just not enough trucks and drivers to keep up with demand. docks only have so much room and stockers can only stock so fast. Bakers can only bake so fast.

If you watch 0.36-1.29 of this video when the nurse speaks, it actually sickens me about this country's attitude to this problem.
It just sickens me!
We have seen scenes of people panic buying things like hand sanitiser and toilet paper, but is the this fault of government or of citizens. Have we lost our ...

Robert - thank you. You are such a shining example for us all! Your take-it-as-it-comes attitude towards both the game and life in general - Yeah. Absolutely. We'll all get through this with a little common sense, patience, and kindness.
I'm extremely fortunate to work from home doing remote data processing and live in a fairly rural area in Western Massachusetts so while schools, restaurants, and bars have been closed, many of us are still able to keep life somewhat normal. I stock up staples quarterly when the co-op I belong to has special discounts for members so at this point we're still doing our normal weekly grocery shopping and going to the farm where we get our raw milk.
Did have a bit of a tight situation last week because we've been so spoiled by Chewy.com for the prescription cat food our Furry Lord & Master needs. Normally we place our order & just about before we can blink it's on our doorstep. Not so this time - placed the order and immediately got an auto-response that the order would be shipped in 5-to-7 days. Of course we'd waited till there were only 2 cans left in the cupboard so picked up a few cans at the co-op to mix with it & get him through. He ate it but not without letting us know quite clearly that it was *not* what he was used to. LOL. God Bless Chewy.com and FedEx though - they actually delivered *yesterday* - Sunday afternoon!
So all in all, we're doing well here. Sending love, strength, and patience to one and all.
Peace!
