Champs-Elysees, Paris
With the Arc de Triomphe at one end, the Place de la Concord at the other, and a slew of high and low end stores, theaters, bars and restaurants that adorn either side of this sweeping, tree-lined boulevard of Paris, is it any wonder that it’s one of the most famous boulevards in the world? It’s even got a classy McDonald’s. Hear “McDonald’s” with a French accent and it changes your ideas about Big Macs

The street today. You can see the Androy Hotel sign in the background, the building is still there lower level used for events and the upper levels are senior living. Also no train tracks..............
