did second shot last nite, sides were shivering for several hours and headaches,  for first shot which my daugther gave me, she thinks may have given .3 instead for .5 for the peg, will that make a big difference?  Really wiped out today, didnt sleep well, also both times got pain in shoulder. All in all hasnt been too bad, i cracked a tooth and reading over posts see where you shouldnt go to dentist, but dont know if can hold on for 46 weeks.  i have put off treatment for several years, but decided to just give it a try, my main reason for delaying treatment was scared would lose job, i missed 3 days last week, but plan to go monday, they agreed not to assign overtime, had to get doctors note for that.  Were most of you able to work while on tx? Missing a few days a month would be ok, but i do need to work.  So glad i found this site, lots of good info.  give for blood work thur, then 2 wks later see doctor.  waiting for results from bood work is so horrible,   thanks to all, im sure i'll  continue to visit here while on tx, the journey has just begun,  only 46 to go!

(((Schuder))) -

That's the right attitude - only 46 more to go...............LOL !!!!  Sorry to hear about your sx, but it sounds like you are managing okay so far.

I did work all during my 48 weeks (teach full time), ran a business (okay, tried to keep it running...........!!!) and worked out most of the time.  I also went to the dentist, but it was just for cleaning/regular exam.  You will get lots of differing replies to that, but it may just depend on your dentist and doc.  Both of mine said no problem................

Good luck to you on your tx journey.  This site was my saving grace, and I am glad you have found it, too.

Hugs,  Kristin

Good Morning Schuder,

I would think your doctor would want you to go to the dentist. Your immune system will be lower on tx and you cannot afford to get an infection from a bad tooth. You would have to tell your dentist the meds you are on and what for so he/she can protect themselves.

Toothache pain you can do without on top of tx. It also may be adding to your fatigue. Call your doctor asap.

Hugs,

Anne

Nope. Not to worry at this very early stage of your tx.

Hang in there and know we are behind you. You can do this.

Hello to you... I am not sure why it is being said to not go to the dentist? Thats just not true. I worked for general dentists and an oral surgeon. We worked on LOTS of patients with hep c. And also pts. who were hiv as well. You should get your dental work done. Please don't always believe what you hear or read. Talk to your doctor first and foremost.....

Take care,

Denise                           Dentist     LOL.....Just a little humor for you...

Hi,
I just wanted to tell you there is life after Tx. My husband finished
Tx in Jan and he is still clear. He feels great. It helps if you mark the weeks on your calendar and count backwards. Make a list of everything you are going to want to do when you are done. Trust me my husband feels like a new man. He has never felt better. Hang in there.
Stay busy and don't let it stop you. Icecream snack at night always made him feel better. Good luck.
