Welcome To B-36 Era And Cold War
Aviation Forum
A public forum for B-36 and SAC Cold War veterans.

The world owes its existence to the many people who designed, built, maintained and operated the Convair B-36 intercontinental nuclear bomber. Without this aircraft, the world as we know it would not exist. During its operational life in the early years of the Cold War, the B-36 was operated under the tightest of security and secrecy and the general public never knew the role it played in preventing global nuclear war. The purpose of this forum is to inform its readers of the history of the B-36 by providing former B-36 personnel an opportunity to tell their stories as they lived them.
