Welcome To B-36 Era
And Cold War Aviation Forum

A public forum for B-36 and SAC Cold War veterans.

The world owes its existence to the many people who designed, built, maintained and operated the Convair B-36 intercontinental nuclear bomber. Without this aircraft, the world as we know it would not exist. During its operational life in the early years of the Cold War, the B-36 was operated under the tightest of security and secrecy and the general public never knew the role it played in preventing global nuclear war. The purpose of this forum is to inform its readers of the history of the B-36 by providing former B-36 personnel an opportunity to tell their stories as they lived them.

If you got here by clicking the "Guest" button on the login page, please consider registering and becoming a member. The registration is easy and you can elect to not receive unwanted email from sponsors. Without registering, you can read the messages here but you will not be able to participate in the discussions. Please join and help keep those B-36 era memories alive.

Think of this Start Page as the entryway to our Forum. Here you can see a summary of the latest discussions and a list of who has visited. Also, we have a live "Chat Room" where you can schedule meetings with your new-found friends.

Use the grey tabs at the top of the page to move around the Forum. Want to get into the heart of the Forum? Click "Start Reading" now, or click the "Messages" tab. Want to start a new discussion? Click "Post New". If you are new to forums, scroll to the bottom of this page and click "Tour" or "Help".

The "Webpage" tab at the top of this page will take you to www.B-36.net where you will find an extensive listing of links to B-36 websites.
