Southern Cruisers Riding Club Capital District - Chapter #141
Event & Ride Schedule (click HERE)
Welcome to the 2009 Riding Season. Our official start Date was Tuesday April 21st with a ride to Four Brothers Pizza in Valatie.
We will still be meeting Tuesdays at the Menands Diner at 6:00 pm with departure time at 6:30. We are looking at other Tuesday night places to accommodate our needs and a decision will be forthcoming.
We will continue to use the forum as our main venue for communication and you can click the link to our "Events and Ride Calendar" to keep up to date to see where we will be going.
During the winter months we had several meetings and discussed areas that needed attention. We came up with several solutions to make our Chapter run more smoothly, more safety conscious, and hopefully to help make our rides more enjoyable and fun. Our Volunteer group has worked hard to make these improvements in how we manage our chapter and is presently involved with completing our ride schedule for 2009.
For those who ride with us, an open invitation is extended to attend our Volunteer meetings if you are interested in becoming more involved in our chapter. We meet once a month on Mondays at the Gateway Diner at 6pm and is announced in advance on the forum. Join us and discover how rewarding it is to take an active role in the decision making process of our chapter.

The forum is open to riders of all types of bike as we do not discriminate. If you ride, that's all that matters. Come on in and be part of the group!
Have a question about your bike? This is the place for you. Feel like talking about anything? This is the place for you. Want to post some pictures of your ride? Come on in, someone will give you a hand if needed.
If you are having a problem with someone on the forum (and it happens from time to time), take care of it between yourselves, off list. We're all adults and life's too short to argue about it.
There are a few of us "onboard" to take care of any Spam that crops up. If you came here to troll, save your keystrokes. It will get deleted as soon as it's seen by a moderator as will the bashing of anyone, their ride, or anything else, these will not be tolerated.
Forum members: It's Caveat Emptor (buyer beware) on this website, we do not promote any vendors, or suppliers. If a member writes a post about any vendor, it is their opinion only and the not the opinion of the group, the forum or any of it's moderators.
Enjoy the forum, and Enjoy the Ride.
