The World We Know was inspired by the official forum for The X-Files. When I discovered fans there making their own Delphi forums (The company The X-Files forum was careted by) I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and created a forum of my own in 2001.

Growing up in a small town, the Internet and these forums provided much needed links to the outside world. Over the past six years I have been introduced to tons of new people thanks to Delphi - And some of them have become very close friends.

The World We Know started off as HappyFlukey's Slightly Psychotic World, then became The World I Know (based on my personal web site) and finally The World We Know - Because it was a place for all of us to connect and share our lives.

In 2006 traffic began to slow to a trickle until the forum lay dormant. In September 2007 a Facebook group called "The World We Know" was created as a place where forum members could reunite and catch up.

Join at www.facebook.com or by clicking the image above and search "The World We Know" (Under "Groups"). This forum coexists with the Facebook group and remains open to members.
