This is a Moderated Forum. We have Delphi tools in place to prevent unwanted language and subject matter on our board. If this offends you, we invite you to hang out somewhere else. Occasionally a non offensive post may get temporarily delayed by our filtering system. We apologize for any inconvenience, but that's a small price to pay for having a clean house to enjoy coming home to.
Do NOT Post anything political on this board!!! There are no Democrats or Republicans here. Only riders. We aren't here to fix the country. We're here to ride it!
Tell your friends about our Forum. We now have a linking domain at www.roadkingriders.com

Lets build a sense of "community" and gather a large amount of information about this beautiful motorcycle - which Road King owners love...and others dream of owning
This forum was created to exchange information about the Harley Davidson Road King (FLHR), Road King Classic(FLHRC-I) and Road King Custom (FLHRS) and is primarily for Road King owners and enthusiasts, however we welcome others to come and particpate, whether a Harley rider or not. We are not here to perpetuate the "Harley Cult", although we do love our bikes...and are proud to own and ride these works of "rolling art".
Our purpose is to gather and share FLHR/S/CI information and share our experience
Don't bash other bikes or riders of other bikes. IF you do, you won't be on here long - I promise! The wind is the same for everyone, so please be respectful of what others ride.
This forum is not about religion or politics. If you're looking for a soapbox , this ain't it. I realize that some threads may take a philosophical turn... its called life...but if you have to vent your viewpoints on these issues, find a more receptive site, and let's keep this one about bikes and rides.
We welcome Commercial Announcements from Vendors as long as they are Road King or rider related and posted in the "Vendors" area.
Be respectful of other's opinions-this is very important if you want to continue to post here.
Think of this Start Page as the entryway to our Forum.

Note from your host:
This forum is for the betterment of our readership. To learn, to make friends, to share our enthusiasm for this great machine and riding in general. If you disagree with a post, and feel it absolutely necessary to respond to it, learn to disagree kindly and respectfully, or lose your right to post.
1.) Unkind responses disappoint me.
2.) The use of offensive or vulgar language embarrasses me, as this is a public forum and we have some very classy ladies here and I don't talk that way in front of women.
3.) Calling people names, other than their chosen or real name is a psycological tool that humans use in an attempt to establish dominance in a battle of words. This enfuriates the hell out of me and will get you banned from this site without further warning.
4.) Bike or brand bashing will get you banned without ANY warning.
Here's some good guidelines for posting on this forum:
1.) To the best of your knowledge, is your statement true?
2.) Can your statement be made in kindness?
3.) If it won't pass BOTH rules above, is it really necessary at all?
I have only one guidline for moderation:
Is this member going to be an asset, or a liability to this forum?
A reminder to all members here: Before you rebutt a disrespectful or argumentive post, and risk losing your own right to post, click on the "Options" link at the bottom left of the offending message and click "Report Violation". This sends a direct message to me, and a link to the offensive post, so that I can handle it appropriately.

Many thanks to the originator of this forum
