This forum is for interested people to ‘put their heads together’ and think about these ideas.
There are a few Distributist web sites out there, but most are inactive. Wendell Berry wrote some interesting books on the agricultural side of the problem in the 70’s and 80’s, but I’m not sure if he’s done anything recently. Farmers are mostly resigned to their fate. The Vanderbilt Agrarians were even earlier in this century.
As we come to a new century, and a new millenium, might it be possible to rethink some of the ways we are living? Some of the ways our economic order is structured? Ways in which the information revolution might possibly allow us to heal some of the social damage that was caused by the industrial revolution - without forcing us to reject all technology?
