RULES:
This is intended to be a free speech forum. Most anything within the Terms of Service of Delphi is permitted though some language is prohibited and posts will be edited accordingly. Prohibited language includes but is not limited to explicit sexual language/descriptions and/or other lewd or pornographic language/content.
Posters are urged to keep discussions civil and 'flame free'. Discussions that become nothing more than flame wars will be moved into an "At Your Own Risk" folder so that those who choose to avoid those kinds of posts can do so. Folks who may be offended by those kinds of discussions are advised that AYOR means the content may be vulgar or otherwise offensive.
This forum does NOT permit discussions whose purpose is to denigrate other posters nor do we permit negative references to people who post on other forums, other forum host/esses, or discussions on other forums.
The following is a guideline to be used for posting copyrighted articles on The Big Picture. Other considerations than those listed herein MAY be taken into account as well....
1. Any copy/paste quotes should be very brief. As a general rule, one, or at most, two sentences from original article may be copied and pasted in your post. Posts that contain any more than this are subject to editing by staff and may, if the situation warrants, be deleted, or threads may be closed. Summaries of articles in your own words are OK.
2. It is a MUST that you provide a link or url to a source where the full story can be found online.
3. Do not include copyrighted pictures or graphics.
4. Some kinds of documents, press releases or items from the government sources can be reproduced in their entirety. In addition, some authors provide written permission with their articles and that permission MUST be included in your post. All views are welcome and all visitors are encouraged to join in the debate.
