Welcome to BREAKTIME CLASSIC, the non-Taunton 'Classic' version of Breaktime Forum created and run by former Breaktime members. We encourage participation by professional and DIY builders, remodelers, plumbers and electricians, and building trades specialists of all types. Feel free to post new threads and ask questions of the greatest technical brain trust in the homebuilding and remodeling world.
Polyjive and religion threads are strongly discouraged There are plenty of fora out there on the web where people who enjoy screaming at each other can do so; but BREAKTIME CLASSIC is not one of them.
Disagreements are okay; abusive language, personal insults and invective are not. Violators will have their posts deleted, and may be put on probation or gagged. Repeat violators will be banned.
Please do not start fundraising threads, even for 'good causes.' We cannot approve any without approving all, and that is not practical. There is too much scamming on the internet already; we don't want our members exposed to it here.
Commercial sales efforts of any sort are forbidden. Members who wish to sell used tools or other items casually--NOT AS A BUSINESS--may place a 'classified ad' in the 'Reader Classified' folder
