This forum is the unoffical meeting place for Chalet fans around the world. For the benefit of those who are just passing through, The Chalet School is a series of 58 books written over a period of roughly 45 years, by Elinor Mary Brent-Dyer.

This forum is currently a public forum (ie open to anybody). However, certain posts are discouraged from this forum. These include anything widly not related to Elinor or her books (if you wish to have a discussion about, say J. K Rowling's Harry Potter books or Antonia Forest's Marlow books, then I suggest the Gw Rw forum, you will find a link on the pull down menu in the top frame), smutty messages, rude responces to another members posts (remember, everybody is entitled to their own views, just as you are yours - remember the old saying "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"?), or ads to anything not related to books in general (for example, making a thread about your new music website. You are, of course, allowed to have a link at the bottom of your message). If you do post a "banned" message, it will be deleted and you will recieve an order mark via email. A second offence will result in three order marks, spending Saturday night turning sheets sides to middle and being "gagged out" (unable to reply to posts) for a week and a third offence will result in a Head's Report.....

We also have a second forum, The Chalet School Commonroom, for general chat about anything and everything. Again, you will find a link in the top frame.

We welcome new members with open arms, so just jump in and start posting! We are a mixed grill of ages and come from all over the world, so everyone who is an EBD fan is welcome to join our little place on the web. Just choose a thread and jump right in!
