Hmmmm, what the heck is Greyhounder's Online?
Well, it's simple really... Greyhound People Online
The things in common may stop there, but can that be built on? Probably.
How do we build on that? Communication... open, honest, friendly, and non-confrontational communication. It's simple, and very difficult.
There is one basic rule in this forum... no flaming. Treat opinions with respect, even if you disagree, and speak to others the way you want to be spoken to. Vulgar language will not be tolerated at all.
You are free to post your feelings and thoughts, but not at the expense of another.
This PUBLIC forum is open to all greyhounders, to make finding out about Greyhounders Online easier. In the PRIVATE, members only forum a committee decides the fate of objectionable posts. Due to this being a PUBLIC forum... I decide when a post crosses the fine line of being questionable!
THE RULES By posting a message or entering the Chat Room, you agree to the following rules and actions
1. Posts containing any word that is normally accepted as vulgar (obscene, abusive, or lewd) are not allowed.
2. Posts containing derogatory ethnic, racial, and/or gender terms are not allowed.
3. Repect is required from all individuals and groups. Changing the name of a group or individual, to imply another meaning is considered derogatory.
4. If you don't agree with a post, don't flame it. The other rules are fairly easy to understand and follow, flames are more open to interpretation... MY intrepretation.
Actions to be taken
1st time - immediate removal of post, and public warning.
2nd time - immediate removal of post, and "gagged" (you can read, but not post) for 3 days.
3rd time - immediate removal of post, and locked out of forum.
An easier way to understand all of the above...
Treat each individual or group the way that you would like to be treated.
