Here you can learn about Adopting from the fastest and oldest breed of domesticated dog. Greyhounds have been living and working with mankind for over 7000 years. The story of this partnership continues right up to the present day. This Forum is dedicated to continuing this historical bond in the best way for both Greyhounds and their human companions.

Many Greyhounds retire from racing each year, and they need to find adoptive homes where they can continue their lives as companions and service dogs. Greyhounds make fabulous pets, they're clean, friendly, beautiful, and they LOVE people and other dogs!

There are many Adoption Groups all over the US and Canada, and they do the important work of matching Retired Greyhounds with the right person or family. This Forum is a place where people who are interested in Greyhounds can find out more about them, and get hooked up with an Adoption Group that's close to their home.

We can help a prospective Adopter to conveniently meet the Volunteers and Greyhounds in their area.
