The BAND of GYPSIES FORUM is an open discussion board and chat dedicated to the preservation of CLASSIC and PROGRESSIVE ROCK of the 1960-70's, and to the pioneers of that era that made it happen. We are also here to promote promising new artists that continue that legacy.
THE BAND of GYPSIES FORUM is an extension and service of THE GYPSYMUSIC PROJECT.

GYPSYMUSIC was started in 1993 in Austin, Texas when a small band of musicians, composers, songwriters, and fans got together to exchange ideas about the preservation of Classic Rock Music, and as a means to promote and retain creative control over our own projects. We have donated our webspaces and time to promoting the idea that " MUSIC IS FOREVER EVOLVING INTO A UNIVERSAL MESSAGE OF UNDERSTANDING".

We welcome musicians, artists, and fans of all genres to come here and exchange opinions and ideas about the evolution of PROGRESSIVE Music, and new artists to have an avenue to promote their music. The only things we ask from you is to respect other's opinions, not to use profanity, and not to spam. By doing these things the ideas flow freely and are not cluttered by needless disrespect.
