Welcome to the world of independent nursing. This is a forum to allow independent nurses to network, ask questions and give advice to other independent nurses and those who wish to become independent contractors in the nursing or the broader healthcare community.

All are welcome, nurses and other healthcare practitioners. If you are an IC or an IC wannabe, please share your experiences and or questions with the rest of us. The more information posted, the better.

Please be courteous to others and remain on topic. Topics other than independent practice and related issues should be placed in the Lounge folder. So join in the discussions!

Canyon View Nursing This is an agency started by a nurse Pat Munn for the purpose of working independently. Her husband Butch Nollsch is responsible (I think) for this wonderful web site full of helpful advice for those just starting.
