Microdem
This forum provides support for the MICRODEM freeware program, the premier microcomputer mapping/GIS program.
The newest version of MICRODEM is at the USNA site. When directed to get the latest version of the program, this is the link you should use.
It will have the latest bug fixes and enhancements, which may or may not be of interest to you. This version may also have debug code activated, if there are any current problems that I cannot duplicate and for which I need a record when the program fails on other systems. You will have to uncompress this file into the correct directory where the MD EXE resides.
If you go to the main download page, on the USNA site, you will see links to the complete install (updated weekly or monthly on average when then is a "major" change, and a 50 MB download now that the Help File is included) and the executable only (a 5 MB download updated on average at least once daily, but almost certainly not worth downloading that often).
