This is a place to discuss making your own makeup, skincare, perfume, aromatherapy serums, etc. Share formulas, vendors, experiences, or anything else you care to.
New members are welcome! Please feel free to post and introduce yourself. Lots of useful info in the Resources folder including the mica color equivalents, conversion tables, etc. Also check the Vendors folder for polls on different vendors and feel free to suggest new ones.
This is a public forum, so please keep that in mind when posting. I don't plan on "moderating" much since I think most of us make-it-yourself types are pretty down to earth :) As the administrator of the forum, I welcome feedback and hope that this is a useful and fun place for everyone! -ROXANA

Please refer to the following guidelines when posting.
It is perfectly ok to name companies when identifying a product or stating a positive or negative personal opinion or experience with a product or company. For example, it's ok to say "I use ABC company's product" or "I think ABC company charges too much for shipping"
Do not refer to people at a company by name but rather by role. So for example, it would not be ok to say "Jane at ABC company was rude to me" but it would be ok to say "The customer service manager was rude".
Do not state as fact things you do not know to be true. For example, it's not ok to say "Company ABC does not make their own products" unless you know that for sure. It would be ok to say "I don't believe Company ABC makes their own products but am not sure"
Additionally Delphi Terms of Service specifically prohibit the following:
Use a message board, chat room, or other service to harass others. This means no flaming. Also it means no profane language since it is possible for somoene to consider that harassment.
Impersonating any person or entity or falsely representing your affiliation with any person or entity. This means if you are affiliated with a company that is relevant to the discussion, you need to make that clear. A very pointed example would be that it is a violation to post something about one mineral makeup company and not identify yourself as the owner of a different mineral makeup company.
