Welcome to the forum - a place to discuss the reception of satellite - delivered, Free-To-Air MPEG2/DVB signals in North America.
MPEG2/DVB is a standard to digitally encode audio and video signals for transmission via satellite. The discussion of those signals, their tuning parameters, and the equipment necessary for reception, is the focus of this forum. No discussion of illegal reception of encrypted programming will be tolerated!

Folders
After you become familiar with the basics, you are invited to participate in any of the discussions listed on the left or to post your own new discussion.
The forum has been divided into several folders to keep messages organized. Please post new messages in the appropriate folder so that others may find them easily. Here is a brief description of each topic folder:
New Users - Basic questions about DVB and how to get started are discussed here.
Programming - The place to discuss what DVB signals are on satellite, and how to tune them.
Hardware - Dishes, LNBs, switches, feedhorns, and receivers are discussed here. There are also dedicated topic areas for receivers including the following:

HDTV - The topic for HDTV programming and receivers, including the Unity Motion HDTV satellite receiver.

Receiver Reviews - Submit or read reviews of DVB receivers. This thread is fairly new, so any contributions will be appreciated.
