This forum is moderated. Feel free to share your experiences, feelings and opinions, to give & receive support on all matters relating to adoption separation, politics, and healing the wounds left in the wake of your adoption experience.
Before you begin posting to this forum, we ask that you read the Welcome Message. It will tell you a bit about why this forum is here, what the "etiquette" is here, and why we don't use "the b-word."
In-general though:
- this is a place of respect and healing for people who have experienced the pain and grief of losing family members to adoption.
- It is not for discussing the general "pros and cons" of adoption - there are many other forums for that.

- As a place of healing, support and respect, we've agreed not to use the "birth-" prefix for words such as mother, parent etc. See this article to find out why this term demeans exiled mothers.
