The Purpose of this board is to EXPOSE the false teaching of Catholicism in light of Scripture.  It is not to examine the beliefs of this ministry or the standards for which we hold to be True.  Neither is the board a platform for those devoted to Catholicism to examine, refute, or "bash" the tenets of Evangelical Protestantism. This board is solely for the purpose of examining the teaching of Catholicism in light of Scripture.

Proclaiming The Gospel reserves the right to revise and enforce the purpose of this forum. This may include immediately censuring an post, or a participant. The following set of rules represents this ministry's desire to provide leadership in accordance to the example and teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. Proclaiming The Gospel recognizes the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments as the necessary means whereby we learn the truth, and the final authority to appeal in contending for that truth. We also affirm the Bible as the necessary foundation of authoritative doctrinal argument. Moreover, we recognize the Bible as our regulative principle governing our common faith; hope; and mutual responsibilities one to another. (Heb 4:12; 2 Tim 3:16; Luke 8:21). 

Theological debate is not about winning or losing; rather it is the exercise of our common commitment to `prove all things; hold fast that which is good.' (1 Thess. 5:21).
