Charitable Endeavors

This forum initiated a new project early in 2002 that was unique in the quilting and Internet world: The RRCD (Round Robin Charity Drive) Project, which is described in detail on the Web. This wonderful project has become near and dear to our hearts. It never ceases to amaze us at the compassion, love, and generosity of the QP Forum members.

Most people do not realize how much time, energy, and resources it takes to make a quilt. Yet the precious members of this forum continue to give and give with no expectations in return. Many children and adults have been truly blessed by these donations at a time in their lives when traumatic events and/or terminal illnesses have impacted them. Our quilts are scattered all over the world, giving warmth and comfort to those in need. Indeed, this is a priceless facet of our forum that is extremely satisfying.
