Here are several requests to aspiring participants in the forum. Please format the line length of your works. You can do so with 3FT - Fan Fiction Formatting Tool or another program that's made to format fanfics. Use them. We'd appreciate it very much. Additionally, for the spelling-impaired, we suggest the usage of the following to keep yourselves from getting llama-smited: The Anti-Rifty! To help determine if your signature is within this forum's policy limits, you can make use of this online image editor. Due to past events that transpired in the fanfiction world, it has come to our attention that a stance needs to be taken against plagiarism. This has caused several well-known writers, and most of all, friends, to retire from fanfiction in one form or another. Debates about the issue can be found here, here, here and here.

Remember, if you see someone's work being stolen, report it right away and support the original author!

There are a couple of things you can do and several people you can see while at the Fanfics Forum. Or is that the other way around... Hmmm...

• Interact with several award-winning authors and bug 'em about their works. Go ahead. You know you want to do it. ^_^
  Be nice about it though. Like the saying goes, honey and vinegar. Honey and vinegar.
• If you have not heard the news yet, several authors have updated their websites/stories. Hawk released more "Messed Up." Fire posted new stories. And so forth. Go check the links to your favorite authors. You might be pleasantly surprised.
• However, if your fic writer of choice did not update his/her/its stories, don't despair. Why don't you contact the author and find out what's going on? But try to remember not to be an ass about it, alright?
• Remember Shades! Viva la Resistance!
• Watch out for Kwok's army of horny Tux-boys! They probe without warning. Where have they been lately anyhow?
• Take notes as the Mega-Playboy adds another conquest to his horde of fangirls. Serafita, the sex-angel. Search your feelings, P-chan! You know in your heart it is true! ^_~
• Gaze in awe at the one who promotes the virtues of drinking "Carrot Juice (TM)", as he releases yet another new chapter to his numerous Self-Inserts. Bow down and worship before the Great Tuber. ^_^
• Sigh yet again as Dark Phoneix starts another new series. How many unfinished storylines does this make now? Fifteen? Twenty? Oy vey... And pray for his continuous survival as he flees from his mother's wrath.
• Cover your eyes and peer through your fingers as WFROSE shocks us with another installation of his alternative Ranma fanfics. VERY alternative. With a citrus scent!
• Catch the latest updates and forthright critiques on various fanfiction series from Thermopyle, the sentient FanFiction.Net search engine.
• Ponder the words of wisdom from our resident Ranma fanfic guru, Rakhal. Check out his site, Penultimate Ranma Fanfic Index, already! He's probably got the location of that Ranma crossover you've been looking for.
