We are an international community of people who sail active on tall ships. We are discussing the ships, talking about our voyages and experiences, about useful equipment and oncoming events.
If you ever sailed on a tall ship or plan to do so, please join the discussion. The main language of this forum is English. But as most of our members are multilingual entries in French, German or Russian language are also welcome.
My name is Baerbel (speak: "Barbl"). I am the host of this forum. Please refer to me if you have any question concerning the forum.
I started sailing on tall ships in 1999 and have sailed on "Kaskelot", "Lord Nelson", "Jean de la Lune", "Mary Anne", "Atlantis", "Santa Barbara Anna", "Fridtjof Nansen", "Kruzenshtern", "Mir", "Sedov", Roald Amundsen", "Royal Louise", "Valdivia" and "Sea Cloud" since then. I also sailed on modern container ships as Navigational Watchkeeping Officer. Currently I collect sea time towards my chief mate licence.
