Swing all through 2009~

with Swing from 1935 - 1946!

"YOUR
LOS ANGELES
SWING BROADCAST

(once upon a time - known as "SwingLand!") has been on line for more than eight years now and has seen many changes in the once current World of Swing revival scene.

"YOUR
LOS ANGELES
SWING BROADCAST"

has covered the best music of the past and the best music of the present. We ignored most of the 'swing revival' bands` of the Neo Swing persuasion. And we're still talking about the classic Swing bands of the 30s and 40s.

"YOUR
LOS ANGELES
SWING BROADCAST"

has had many posts about the bands and the recordings of the Swing era of 1935-1946.

We've also had many posts regarding current bands on the scene in the greater Los Angeles area.

As the original Swing era has faded deeper into history and the current swing era has become an evolving mystery with music as a adjunct, we have tried to continue to focus on the best of both worlds.

Much of the information on this forum is not 'time sensitive'. Posts that were done two years ago often have as much or more value than those currently generated.

So read what is here, revive any topic you care to and post as you see fit.

SWING HIGH!

Sincerely,
John P. Cooper

But I don't look like an alcoholic.

I'm successful, have a beautiful home and great family. I can't be an alcoholic then, right?
