Our organization is a union of concerned citizens. Residents of Uniondale and Hempstead of all races, ages, and various walks of life have joined together to make our hometowns a better place to live and work.
"Our mission statement for 2008 is "The People's Campaign", whose purpose is for the people in our community to join forces and take action on the issues of sanitation code enforcement, illegal housing and crime reduction. We meet on the first Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Uniondale Public Library.
In conjunction with our website, the NGCA has established a forum so residents can voice their concerns, and all can have input into helping make our community the very best in whch to live and work. All are welcome to post messages here. Simply go to the folder of your choice and click "post new." And, of course, feel free to read the other messages as well. Communication is a major step towards building a better community. Here you, the Uniondale resident, has a voice and it will be heard.
With the message board, you can view discussion folders quickly in the left-hand column and read up to 20 messages at a time. You can even attach files (such as pictures and programs) directly to messages -- just like e-mail. It's fast, easy, and efficient.
As you always do at our community's meetings, keep in mind we're all adults here, so hopefully peaceful intelligient discussion will reign, and no "moderation" will be necessary. Thank you in advance.
In order to take part in our forum, you'll need to go through a quick registration if you've never participated in a Delphi Forums online community before. It only takes a minute and it's free! |
