An unknown gunman fired several shots at the US Embassy in the Turkish capital, Ankara from a passing car, smashing a window. Police are looking for the suspect.
No one was injured in the attack, local media report. The shooting took place at about 5am local time (2am GMT). Five or six gunshots were heard near the security guard’s cabin at the embassy’s Gate 6. They came from a white car that drove by and escaped before its license plate number could be determined.

Police have been dispatched to the scene and the search for the car and the fugitives is ongoing.
The attack comes at a time when relations between NATO allies US and Turkey are rapidly souring over the detention of American pastor Andrew Brunson in Turkey. Brunson is accused of aiding the 2016 coup attempt and faces up to 35 years in prison. The US Treasury has imposed sanctions on the Turkish ministers of justice and interior, and US President Donald Trump ramped up tariffs on aluminum and steel imports the country.

The economic pressure sent the Turkish national currency, the lira, plunging to unprecedented lows. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused Washington of deliberate attacks on Ankara’s economy and urged his people to drop the dollar in favor of the lira.

At least seven people have been injured, four seriously, in Paris after a man attacked people with a knife and an iron bar at two separate locations. The attacker is believed to be an Afghan national.
In an initial incident, the attacker wounded three people in front of a cinema in the 19th arrondissement late on Sunday evening. A group of men playing petanque tried to stop him by throwing a heavy iron ball used in the popular French game, according to Le Parisien.

“He had an iron bar in his hand which he threw at the men chasing him, then he took out a knife,” a security guard at the cinema recalled after the initial attack.

According to another witness account, a man running with a 25-30cm knife in his hand was pursued by around 20 people. “They started throwing petanque balls at him. Around four or five balls hit him in the head, but they weren't able to stop him,” Youssef Najah told AFP.

After running away from the scene of the first attack, the assailant continued on Rue Henri Nogueres, where he wounded two English tourists, who sustained head and chest injuries.
The aggressor, who was also injured, was finally arrested by the Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC) of the police. The suspect is believed to be “an Afghan” national, local media report.

In total, at least seven people were injured by the individual, four of whom have been hospitalized in a serious condition, police said.
While authorities have yet to establish the motive behind the attack, an investigation has been launched into the violent spree. A source close to the probe told Le Parisien that, so far, there was no basis on which to call the incident a terrorist attack.

‘Allahu Akbar’: Two Injured After Suspect Drove Vehicle into Late-Night Crowds in France
Nimes France PoliceGetty Images
14 Sep 2018194
Police arrested a 32-year-old suspect in the early hours of Friday morning after a vehicle struck anti-terror barriers in the French city of Nimes, injuring two.
Although few details about the identity of the suspect are known, police sources reported by Midi Libre state he is believed to have deliberately wanted to hit a crowd of people with his vehicle. He struck anti-terror barriers deployed to prevent exactly that sort of incident, which worked as intended, potentially preventing a number of injuries or fatalities.
Several newspapers, including London’s Times reports the driver shouted Allahu Akbar, although Nimes police say they do not believe terrorism was a motivation for driving the vehicle into a crowded bar and that he was mentally confused. The suspect was not subject to a police S-file, the French system of monitoring extremists.

Suspected French Christmas Market Terrorist Identified as Another “Known Wolf”
by Team Bongino

The suspected terrorist who killed two and wounded at least 13 others in a shooting attack at a Christmas market in Strasbourg, France yesterday was being monitored by police ever since he was radicalized in prison and has a long criminal record.
The Washington Times reports that French Senior Interior Ministry official Laurent Nunez says 29-year-old Cherif Chekatt was monitored by authorities since 2015, when he was released from prison after having been radicalized.

Nunez also said that Chekatt was supposed to be arrested yesterday morning prior to his attack in relation to an attempted murder however, he was not home when authorities arrived.

The shooter, who shouted Allahu Akbar as he attacked innocent shoppers, has a long criminal record, having served prison time for robberies in Germany, France, and Switzerland over the years.

Hundreds of law enforcement officers have been hunting down the killer, who–according to officials–may have crossed into Germany.
The Times reports:
Many of Europe’s deadliest terror attacks in recent years have taken place in France. In response to Tuesday’s shooting, the government decided to take the country’s attack risk up a level on the official threat index and to send security reinforcements to Strasbourg, Interior Minister Christophe Castaner said in Strasbourg. Some 350 officers and two helicopters were searching for the assailant after Tuesday’s drama, which involved shooting in multiple neighborhoods of Strasbourg, authorities said. The assailant confronted law enforcement officers twice, exchanging fire, while he “sowed terror,” Castaner said. The shooter was shot and wounded by soldiers guarding the Christmas market, according to Stephane Morisse of police union FGP Police.

Radical Islamist missionaries are destroying religious freedom
By Leah Rosenberg -  December 17, 2018 3376 0

What are the essential dangers of radical islamist ideology in this world?  Should there be any limits on what is said or preached in public?  Absolutely.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali - What is Radical Dawa?

Radical Islamist ideology spreads – quickly.  How does it spread?  Ayaan Hirsi Ali claims that Dawa is much more than an introduction to Muslim ideology.  She claims that it is a movement that is all about supremacist ideology, and against religious freedom and women’s rights.  In a nutshell, it stands diametrically opposed to almost all Western values.   She believes that there are multiple groups that are all involved in trying to make fundamental changes in the social structures of the Western countries they live in.

Should we be tolerant to anti-tolerant ideologies?
This is of course a tricky question.  The Clarion Project has taken a strong stance on this.  They believe that this movement is endangering the Western world as we know it.  I think this is true – but we need to be careful.  Free speech is indeed a central value that must be safeguarded.  The problem is when free speech leads to hate speech.  Or, as in this case, when free speech leads to promoting ideologies that do not support free speech.
A Recipe for Safe Free Speech
This is not a simple matter.  Therefore, in my opinion, the key is not to silence these ideologies as much as it is important to expose them.  We need to make it clear to the masses that there are threats out there that must be dealt with.  That there are ideologies that threaten the very ground that we are on.  In that way, we won’t have to be as worried about the negative impact of dangerous ideologies.  People will simply reject them.

Terrorist Zakir Musa’s top aide killed along with five other militants
December 22, 2018 by Jerry McCormick

Security forces in India’s Pulwama district have dealt a massive blow to one of the most feared terrorists in the world.
Along with five other militants, the deputy chief of Zakir Musa, Soliha, was reportedly killed during an attack.
Crippling Blow
Zakir Musa is one of the most wanted terrorists in the world today.

He is a former Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist.

Musa also is believed to have links to Jaish-e-Mohammed.

He predominantly operated in the Kashmir Valley.

Local security forces were put on alert earlier this year when Musa was spotted near Amritsar.

Soliha is believed to have been the architect behind many of Musa’s attacks, so authorities believe this will severely hamper his efforts moving forward.
The Operation
A cordon and search operation had been launched in the South Kashmir District.

The operation got the go-ahead after local intelligence reported the presence of terrorist forces.

As authorities were conducting their search, the terrorist group reportedly opened up fire on them.

During the exchange, a total of six terrorists were killed, including Soliha.

In addition to taking out the six terrorists, a massive cache was found.

A spokesman for the Defense Ministry stated, “Weapons and war-like stores have been recovered.”

Do You Believe We Can Defeat ISIS?
Yes
No
Next
So, not only has Musa lost his right hand, but also a significant amount of his supplies to carry out the terrorist attacks.

This is a massive win against the war on terror.

A man has hijacked a bus and drove it into a crowd of people in China’s city of Longyan, killing five people and injuring 21 others. The attacker is believed to have entered the bus armed with a knife and caused panic.
The incident happened in the coastal southeastern Fujian province. The assailant was reportedly detained by police. He apparently attacked passengers with a knife and, when people started fleeing, sat behind the wheel and drove into a crowd. One of those killed is thought to be a police officer.

Online footage, purporting to be from the scene, shows a road littered with parts from damaged vehicles and a group of police officers and bystanders pouncing on the alleged hijacker.

Other clips show people lying on the ground, apparently hurt in the incident (WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES).

The Bergdahl-Sony Effect
The West will have to contend with two lessons it taught adversaries in 2014: The U.S. negotiates with terrorists and the U.S. government and private sector will cave to threats.

The U.S. negotiated a prisoner release with the Taliban where five high-level Taliban terrorists were released in exchange for a kidnapped U.S. soldier named Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl who deserted and may have even tried to join the enemy side. Taliban chief Mullah Omar hailed the deal as a “huge accomplishment” that “reassures us that our aspirations are on the verge of fulfillment.”

Watch Clarion's Ryan Mauro speak on "Top Terror Threats of 2015"

Hollywood reinforced the dangerous appeasement when movie theaters caved to threats from hackers linked to North Korea and refused to show The Interview, a comedy about a plot to assassinate North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un. Sony then cancelled the film’s release.

In addition, showings of Team America, another comedy that pokes fun at North Korea, were shut down. A planned thriller film with a storyline related to North Korea was cancelled, even though the hackers never threatened a response to it or even mentioned it.

After public outrage reached a fever pitch and President Obama said Sony made a mistake, the decision was reversed. The Interview was released in limited theaters and online on Christmas as planned, but the damage was done.

In 2015, the West’s enemies will be implementing these lessons.

Iran Outmaneuvers America

The International Atomic Energy Agency confirms that Iran is still not fully disclosing its nuclear program, yet the negotiations and sanctions relief has been extended for another six months. The U.S. even admits privately that Iran is breaking the interim nuclear deal, while the Secretary of State publicly praises Iran’s so-called “compliance.”

The Iranian regime is using negotiations as part of a long-term strategy to develop nuclear weapons capabilities, with the most incriminating work probably being outsourced to North Korea. A senior adviser to Supreme Leader Khamenei even said the regime’s strategy is “elongation” and it doesn’t actually want a finalized deal.

In 2015, Iran will continue this strategy to advance its nuclear program and lead the West into missing an extremely important opportunity to pressure the regime financially. At the same time, Iran will win investments from European companies to assist the economy and shield Iran from effective sanctions in the future.

Iran will continue to sponsor terrorism, including Al-Qaeda and the Taliban and try to heal rifts with Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Oil Crisis

The decline of oil prices is boosting the American economy and technological advances will reduce U.S. energy dependence. These oil prices are very dangerous for Iran, the Syrian regime, Venezuela, Russia and other hostile regimes.

These governments need the price of oil to spike up to sustain their budgets. The Iranian regime is undoubtedly infuriated with the Saudis for refusing to decrease oil production and has threatened an oil price war previously.

Iran’s proxies have successfully captured the capital of Yemen, defeating Saudi Arabia's allies. In 2012, Iran launched a major cyber attack on Saudi Aramco and a natural gas company in Qatar. The Saudisclaim the hackers tried to halt oil and natural gas production. The Iranian hackers continue to attack U.S. businesses, energy firms, defense contractors and universities.

In 2015, the low price of oil will maximize the incentives for Iran and other hostile governments to instigate conflict or to even attack Middle Eastern and American energy infrastructure.
