"It supports the belief, for example, that people with penises can be lesbians and those with vaginas can be gay men. Those who disagree, says Stonewall, are bigots."

It seems we have a brand new definition of bigot. Any bigots out there?

Stonewall brands lesbians 'sexual racists' for raising concerns about sex with transgender women

For many, it was a brave and long-overdue airing of an important and distressing subject: a painstaking investigation into claims that predatory trans women have been pressuring lesbians for sex, published on the BBC News website.

But a leaked email shows that the influential trans lobby group Stonewall attempted to suppress the investigation before it had even been published – and made the extraordinary claim that debating the issues was equivalent to ‘sexual racism’.

This latest move to try to stifle free speech will add to growing concerns about the influence of Stonewall, which is paid millions of pounds for advising public bodies – including Government departments, police forces and universities – plus a range of private companies.

Stonewall started as a campaign group for gay rights and has been widely applauded for its vital work. Today, however, it is dominated by the campaign for trans rights and controversially sets out to promote self-declared ‘gender identity’ – the doctrine that people are whatever gender they say they are – ahead of biological sex.

It supports the belief, for example, that people with penises can be lesbians and those with vaginas can be gay men. Those who disagree, says Stonewall, are bigots. ~~~~~~~~~~

The BBC’s announcement came two weeks after the Corporation published an investigation by journalist Caroline Lowbridge in which some lesbians told how they felt pressured into having a sexual relationship with trans women – specifically, men who say they are women but who have retained their male genitals.

"have been criticized by some members of the transgender community for pushing transphobic ideas and misrepresenting the dangers they face daily, which, according to Statistics Canada, include violence and poor mental health due to discrimination."

Those are not the big dangers. Those are the secondary dangers. The big dangers are how God will treat societies that proudly turn to the dark (ungodly) side? Those are really BIG dangers.

Canadian state TV defends the trans movement while other media wake up to its dangers

As evidence increases that gender ideology is dangerous and that transition for minors has devastating results, Canada’s state broadcaster, the CBC, has been publishing a flurry of articles defending the transgender movement. As I noted earlier this month in this space, the CBC recently published an article by a transgender professor from the University of Calgary calling on the government to do more to respond to criticisms of the trans movement. As it turns out, that column was just the beginning.

That editorial was followed up by an article titled “Anti-trans views are worryingly prevalent and disproportionately harmful, community and experts warn.” As journalist Jonathan Kay noted on Twitter, the article is a response to the fact that “some Canadian media are finally finding the courage to say what 99% of people think, notwithstanding efforts (such as are contained in this piece) to rebrand discussion of biology as hate speech.”

An excerpt:

Members of transgender and non-binary communities say they’re seeing concerning signs that transphobic ideology is worsening in Canada…

“The climate for trans people has improved in the last decade very considerably, but we’re definitely starting to feel some of those waves of anti-trans activism that have really taken hold in the United Kingdom and in the United States in recent years,” said Travers, a professor of sociology at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, B.C, who goes by one name.

Recent media coverage, including a story by the CTV News investigative program W5 and opinion columns published by the Toronto Star and CBC, have been criticized by some members of the transgender community for pushing transphobic ideas and misrepresenting the dangers they face daily, which, according to Statistics Canada, include violence and poor mental health due to discrimination.

Among the concerning messages, say critics, are assertions that trans people who have not undergone transition-related surgery are not real men or women or that falsely paint trans women as dangerous men. Similar ideas have been spreading in the U.K. for years.

While we are sorry about members of the transgender community who were killed in acts of violence, everything about the idea of transgender goes AGAINST God, and challenges His rule. The acceptance of such behavior endangers ALL of society, and God tells us repeatedly that He is to be feared. Anybody out there listening?

White House honors Transgender Day of Remembrance with vigil

The White House issued a statement on Saturday recognizing a day of remembrance for the transgender community, citing those who were killed in acts of violence.

President Biden called on state and local leaders to follow suit of his administration to advance policies that aid and protect LGBTQ people.

“Transgender people are some of the bravest Americans I know. But no person should have to be brave just to live in safety and dignity. Today, we remember. Tomorrow—and every day—we must continue to act,” Mr. Biden said in a statement.

The president also condemned various bills across GOP-led state legislatures that are aimed at curbing transgender policies.

Those folks don't need vigils or "remembrance."  They need compassion, and a darn good psychologist to help 'em get back to normal.

Lia Thomas: Outrage when a University of Pennsylvania trans swimmer breaks women's records after transitioning from male to female. » Brinkwire

Will Thomas was a moderately successful swimmer on the University of Pennsylvania’s men’s swim team for three years. But then he took a year off, reemerged as transgender, and started dominating the women’s swim team.

“One of my big concerns for trans people is feeling alone,” he told Penn Today. “Even if you don’t pay attention to the news … about states proposing and passing vicious anti-trans legislation, it can feel very lonely and overwhelming.”

“The process of coming out as being trans and continuing to swim was a lot of uncertainty and unknown around an area that’s usually really solid. Realizing I was trans threw that into question. Was I going to keep swimming? What did that look like?”

He added, “Being trans has not affected my ability to do this sport and being able to continue is very rewarding.”

According to SwimSwam.com, during a meet with Columbia University last month, Thomas, now going by the name Lia, “took home a pair of gold medals in the 200 free and 100 free with margins of 5.4 seconds and 1.3 seconds.”

She He contributed three first-place finishes and a second, winning the 200 free (1:46.92) and the 100 free (50.35) and contributing to the winning 200 medley relay (22.76 anchor) and runner-up 200 free relay (22.74 anchor). Her His 100 and 200 free times were not far off the Penn women’s team’s records (49.37/1:45.69), and her his time in the 200 free ranks her him 9th in the NCAA so far this season.

Gender-Neutral Bathrooms: Overkill or Vital? | Diggit Magazine

Chicago Public Schools Announces That It Will Be Moving To Genderless Bathrooms in Creepy Video Featuring Elementary Students - Bathrooms Will Be "Open For Use By Anyone Who Feels Comfortable"

On Tuesday, Chicago Public Schools (CPS) announced that as of December first, every single school in the district – including elementary schools – will be required to have genderless bathrooms with the “appropriate signage.”  The CPS district is the 3rd largest in the US and includes over 600 schools with a total of over 330,000 studentsaccording to their website.

CPS’ chief title IX officer Camie Pratt made the announcement in a short clip that was tweeted by the district, deceptively billing the move “as a step forward” for “gender equity.” She explained how the district will be providing updated signage to all schools that include phrases like “Men’s +: This restroom has both urinals and stalls. All who feel comfortable are welcome to use this restroom.”

Seriously? “All who feel comfortable?” Keep in mind, these are going to be in elementary and middle schools.

"In fact, in some instances parents could be prevented from opposing sex changes for their own children. Witnesses testified to Parliament that they had been helped by therapy that would, under the new law, be banned."

Conservatives allow Canada’s conversion therapy ban to pass with zero opposition

Passage of Bill C-4, which goes to the senate next, is a huge disappointment because Conservative MPs who objected to the ban previously offered no resistance this time.

On the morning of December 1, Conservative leader Erin O’Toole informed the press that he would allow his caucus a free vote on the so-called “conversion therapy ban,” which months earlier had been the subject of intense scrutiny. While most MPs opposed conversion therapy, there were concerns that the deliberately broad definition proposed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberals would ban pastoral conversations between clergy and their parishioners and leave adults with unwanted same-sex attraction unable to receive the counselling they desired. In fact, in some instances parents could be prevented from opposing sex changes for their own children.

Witnesses testified to Parliament that they had been helped by therapy that would, under the new law, be banned. One young woman, now married with children, related how a sexual assault had left her traumatized, confused, and in desperate need of help that this law would deny her. As a result of testimonies such as these and outstanding concerns with the definition, MP Garnett Genuis launched the website Fix the Definition, replete with a list of ways the Liberals could amend the legislation, including:

Ensure that no laws discriminate against Canadians by limiting what services they can receive based on their sexual orientation or gender identity;

Allow parents to speak with their own children about sexuality and gender, and set  house rules about sex and relationships;

Allow free and open conversations about sexuality and sexual behaviour; and

Not criminalize professional and religious counselling voluntarily requested and  consented to by LGBTQ2 Canadians.

When the Liberals declined to address these concerns, 62 Conservative MPs voted against it. Thus, it came as a nasty and heartbreaking shock when on the afternoon of December 1, the Conservative Party presented a motion to fast-track Bill C-4, skipping the entire deliberative process entirely to send the bill directly to the Senate. The motion passed with unanimous consent — not a single MP stood up to say ‘nay.’ This is one of the few instances where a single vote would have ensured that the deliberative process was respected. All of the witness testimony, all of the concerns, all of the hard work put in by stakeholders to ensure that those most impacted by this law would be heard — gone.
