Thank you, Libby :)
Wow, I hope the little munchkin feels better soon!
I had a show Sat, then my gallery opening yesterday- terrible turnout...which is suprizing, as our openings are normally packed. I did sell some things that I need to replace with outhers just on the drawing board, plus internet orders just maxed out (holidaze craze). Hopefully, I'll be able to get caught up and try something new in a couple weeks.
Have a great day!
Marianne

oh, yeah--hot is the way to get the liquidy clay "set" quickly and retain its dimensional aspect!

libby, those are marvelous! they look just like hot glass beads, so i vote for "glassy" as a finish, since it extends the "metaphor", so to speak.

Thanks I am planning on trying some glossy (when I find a block of time LOL).  I like them so much I have been hesitant to varathane them in case I did'nt like it and I ruined one.  Silly I know.

Thanks Jainnie, I am so afraid I will ruin tham I still haven't tried any coating on them.  Of course this is also due to the fact that I haven't had a block of time to work lately. ACK.  I have a few of the early ones that didn't explode, but are really duds so when I get a chance I am going to try a bit of flecto on them and see what I feel like doing to the others.
