That looks interesting!  Looks like an older book/cover.

I got it from a Delphi friend who sent it to South Africa for me. A wonderful book too.

Once upon a time long long ago, I started a collection of old book covers.  Gave it up when it became really expensive.  :-)

I normally just buy the books at the secondhand bookstore.

Book stores or even used book stores are becoming a vanishing breed, at least in my area, only one exclusively books store remains in the county where we had a dozen or so 30 years ago.

I've noticed that as well. Even though it is not closing as fast as stores in the U.S. it is also happening here in South Africa.

Amazon is my first choice (for e-books), but I still get books from used book stores.

Sometimes Amazon does have great deals, but for me where shipping cost is involved in normally pushes the price up. We have Takealot.com here, but I prefer secondhand books.

My son stopped shopping at amazon and now goes to Thriftstores.com ...  free shipping.  He loves it.  I still use amazon but only for e-books.  For print books I either use paperbackswap.com or any one of a number of thrift stores or used book stores in the area.

Yes, you can put ebooks on your tablet, but I know nothing about Samsung products.  You would need to research or read the device manual to discover what format of the books it requires.  It is also possible you could put a kindle app on your Samsung tablet which would enable you to use Amazon to get your ebooks but still use your Samsung to read them.
