Forget COVID, here's leading cause of death worldwide, once again

'It's the legalized killing of the most vulnerable'

The leading cause of death worldwide for 2021 was abortion, which accounted for 42 of each 100 deaths from all causes, a report says.

Decision magazine explained, "The total of all deaths worldwide from causes other than abortion came in at 58.7 million, which means that abortions accounted for just over 42% of all human deaths in 2021."

By the numbers, there were 42.6 million deaths by abortion during 2021, the report said.

That makes three years in a row that the leading cause of death worldwide is abortion, according to Worldometer, a database that compiles global statistics on a variety of topics.

"As of noon Dec. 31, 42.6 million abortions had been performed during 2021. By comparison, 13 million people had died from communicable diseases; 8.2 million from cancer; 5 million from smoking; 2.5 million from alcohol and 1.7 million from HIV/AIDS," the report said.

Also, there were 393,000 from malaria, one million suicides, and 1.3 million road accident fatalities.

Additionally, deaths from the coronavirus in 2021 totaled around 3.5 million globally, according to the World Health Organization.

"Once again, abortion was the leading cause of death worldwide in 2021," March for Life noted on social media. "This is the greatest human rights abuse of our time, and it is our responsibility to stand up and say 'no more.'"

Train derails near LA site of recent wave of cargo thefts

Crews made railroad repairs in Los Angeles Monday after a train derailed near the location where thieves have been raiding cargo containers, leaving the tracks littered with emptied boxes of packaged good sent by retailers.

It wasn't immediately clear if the derailment that happened Saturday was caused by the debris left behind by thieves in the Lincoln Heights area near downtown Los Angeles. Union Pacific said the cause of the derailment was under investigation.

The derailment caused 17 train cars to go off the tracks, Union Pacific said in a statement. No injuries were reported.

Cargo containers aboard trains have been targeted by thieves for months, authorities said. The stolen packages are from retailers including Amazon, REI and others, the CBSLA television newscast reported last Thursday.

Union Pacific said in a statement to CBSLA that the railroad was concerned about increased cargo thefts in California.

“We have increased the number of Union Pacific special agents on patrol, and we have utilized and explored additional technologies to help us combat this criminal activity. We also will continue to work with our local law enforcement partners and elected leaders,” the railroad company said.

Amazon said it was directing inquiries to police. The United Parcel Service declined to comment on investigations into the cargo thefts but said the company was cooperating with authorities.

We are doomed.  We have given up our children to Molech.

That's not Molech. Here we have sacrifices to the gods of fun without consequences.

Forcing your children to wear those hideous harmful masks is sacrificing to Molech.

Historically, but not always, sacrificing to Molech meant passing your own child, not someone else's child, through two pillars of fire, but without killing them.

“Americans are moving from high-tax, forced-unionism, business-unfriendly blue states like CA and NY with high housing costs to low-tax, right-to-work, economically vibrant, business-friendly red states with lower housing costs like FL and TX,”

Over a Million Americans Have Fled Blue States Due to High Rates of Crime, Taxes and Economic Regulation

“The mass exodus of more than a million Americans moving from largely blue States to red States expresses their dissatisfaction with high taxes, rampant crime, lockdowns, [Wuhan coronavirus] vaccine mandates, excessive state government regulations, a politically stifling ‘woke’ culture and the lack of economic opportunity and freedom,” wrote the editorial board of pro-free market research firm Issues & Insights

Data from the Census Bureau has shown that, between 2010 to 2019, the top 10 Democrat-governed states in America lost nearly 850,000 residents. The top 10 mostly Republican-governed states, meanwhile, gained over a million new residents.

This data is supported by other analyses. Issues & Insights reviewed the latest data from American moving company U-Haul and came to a similar conclusion.

According to the 2021 U-Haul Growth Index, the top five states that received one-way U-Haul trucks were all controlled by Republicans. Texas led the pack, followed by Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina and Arizona – which has a Republican-dominated state government, but sends Democrats to Washington, D.C. Four of the bottom five states which lost the most people were Democrat-controlled – California, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. The fifth was Alabama.

“The U-Haul Growth Index is an effective gauge of how well cities are both attracting and maintaining residents,” wrote the company about its index. “Americans are moving from high-tax, forced-unionism, business-unfriendly blue states like CA and NY with high housing costs to low-tax, right-to-work, economically vibrant, business-friendly red states with lower housing costs like FL and TX,” wrote Mark Perry of the American Enterprise Institute.

If you were FORCED to choose for your 6-11 year old, to either 1) receive one of the (non) vaccines), OR 2) let your child go to the Satan club, which would you choose? I know what I would choose.

WTH? ANOTHER ‘After-School Satan Club’ That Targets Children Ages 6 to 11 Shows Up At an Elementary School - This Time in Ohio

An Elementary school in Warren County, Ohio is under intense scrutiny from parents and community members after the school decided to allow an after-school Satan club that is being offered by the Satanic Temple to be held on its campus.

What is going on?

As for the group organizing the event, The Satanic Temple, their co-founder claimed the Satan Club won’t try to convert children to Satanism or force them to worship the devil.

“This actually isn’t a club that’s meant to proselytize Satanism or even engage in discussions about religious opinion,” Satanic Temple co-founder Lucien Greaves told WQAD. “This is an educational program meant to focus on critical thinking and just basic education skills.”

Similar to the first advertisement, the flier promises “fun” by way of “science projects, puzzles, games, art projects, and nature activities,” and also says the young children will be taught “empathy, creative expression, and ‘personal sovereignty – which is the “concept of property in one’s own person, expressed as the moral or natural right of a person to have bodily integrity,”and is definitely not something a 5-year-old has the faculties to comprehend.

The satanic club hosted at the Lebanon City School has generated enough concern among parents that the district felt compelled to respond on Thursday.

From FOX 19:

“Parental permission is required to attend. Superintendent Isaac Seevers says the same is true of every after-school activity in the district. He clarifies the club is not sponsored by the district or Donovan Elementary. ~~~~~~~~~~~ The superintendent makes clear that Lebanon Schools ‘does not and is not legally allowed to discriminate against any groups who wish to rent our facilities, including religiously affiliated groups.’

"Thomas won her 100m race in 50.55 seconds with her closest competitor coming in at 51.51. In the 200m race, she won in 1:47.08 with the second place being secured in 1:48.44...on Thursday USA Swimming announced it will release a new policy 'shortly' on whether elite trans athletes like Ivy League swimmer Thomas can compete against biological women."

What won can take from this, I should think, is that the people at "USA Swimming" have no problem with allowing men to compete in womens' sports. Their problem is when the men WIN by huge margins. For the USA Swimming people, it appears to me, it is not about right and wrong, it is about peoples' perceptions of THEM!

Transgender UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas wins the 100m AND 200m freestyle races against Harvard days after USA Swimming said it would release new policy on whether 'elite trans athletes' will still be able to compete against biological women

Transgender University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas, 22, was back in the pool on Saturday where she continued to beat fellow swimmers, leaving them in her wake. ~~~~~~~~ Thomas won her 100m race in 50.55 seconds with her closest competitor coming in at 51.51. In the 200m race, she won in 1:47.08 with the second place being secured in 1:48.44.

Thomas' controversial wins saw the NCAA review its guidelines for male-to-female trans athletes on Wednesday, but the body ultimately washed its hands of the swirling row surrounding transgender athletes in college athletics. Under the new guidelines, approved by the NCAA Board of Governors, transgender participation for each sport will be determined by the policy for each sport's national governing body.

NCAA rules on transgender athletes returned to the forefront when Thomas started smashing records late last year. She was on the UPenn men's team during her first three years, but she is now competing on the women's team this season after transitioning.

Last month, Thomas put in an astounding performance at the Zippy Invitational Event in Akron, Ohio, that saw her finish the 1,650-yard freestyle 38 seconds ahead of the next closest finisher, teammate Anna Sofia Kalandaze. ~~~~~~~~~

With NCAA taking little decisive action, on Thursday USA Swimming announced it will release a new policy 'shortly' on whether elite trans athletes like Ivy League swimmer Thomas can compete against biological women.

“This is a great first step in destigmatizing sex work — helping our erotic laborers feel seen and recognized as the valued community members they are,”

https://granitegrok.com/blog/2022/01/if-you-want-to-be-legally-sex-trafficked-you-may-have-go-to-burlington-vt

If You Want to Be “Legally” Sex-Trafficked You May Have Go to Burlington VT.

A New Hampshire bill to legalize sex work "indoors" was recently killed in committee. It’s not dead yet. The recommendation could get flipped if they have the votes on the House floor (and then pass it), but that seems unlikely. No worries, just look left. Burlington, Vermont is considering something similar where the odds of approval are exponentially higher.

Burlington City Council on Monday heard what the public thinks about a charter change proposal to eliminate regulation of prostitution in the city — and many people argued prostitution and the sex trade are inseparable, despite some councillors’ claims to the contrary.

If the council approves of the change, the measure would appear as a charter change proposal for Town Meeting Day voters to decide on March 1.

Burlington is #woke, progressive, pro-crime, and on the slippery slope to levels of incompetence and criminality typically reserved for areas of large urban sprawl dominated by decades of Democrat rule. But legalizing sex work? That will just cement into statute the left’s complete disregard for women.

No matter how libertarian the claim that people should be free to consensually sell themselves (online or in-person), most women in these trades are trafficked and abused against their will. And much like the ridiculous bathroom bills that allow male sex predators to “present as female” to access vulnerable girls and women in once ‘safe spaces,’ legalized sex work will result in more harm than good.

True North Reports includes some testimony from advocates for these women.

“That is particularly active in Burlington and is directly related to the gang activity,” Clark said. “Those who survived the Vermont sex trade experience brutalization from gangs, hospitalizations from broken pelvises, complete jaw replacements, severe beatings, physical humiliation, and access to opiates and fentanyl — along with continued support in abusing these substances.”

She added that former workers and their family members have been targeted by traffickers and gang members, and often have to flee their homes.

“Should this [measure pass] you are guaranteed an increase in violence and an increased in the most marginalized here in Vermont continuing to be exploited and trafficked,” Clark said.

The response from advocates of legalizing sex work is basically, so what.

“This is a great first step in destigmatizing sex work — helping our erotic laborers feel seen and recognized as the valued community members they are,” she said. “If the goal is to destigmatize, then promoting of the stereotype that sex workers are all fems and taking their agency by infantizing them all as helpless victims is not removing a stigma, it’s just changing it.”
