Middle school eliminates 'F' grade to combat 'systemic racism'

A Minnesota middle school is eliminating the failing "F" grade. As explained in a YouTube video posted by Sunrise Park Middle School, the 2021-22 school year does not include 0-49.9 percentiles for students. Instead, Associate Principal Norman Bell elaborated that students will be encouraged to retake quizzes, according to Fox News.

"Our whole intent is to ensure that grades focus on the process of learning," Principal Christina Pierre said in the video. "Therefore, grades will not include behaviors, attitude, tardiness to class, whether the assignment was turned in late or on time. There's other ways that we can communicate those things to parents."

The district's superintendent, Wayne Kazmierczak, was awarded the Minnesota Association of School Administrators 2021 Superintendent of the Year. The school's website discusses the award and the requirement of an "equity audit" before being awarded. The equity audit would seemingly measure grade disparities among races, and it remains unclear whether the district has eliminated failing grades as a result of this equity audit.

"Grading can be one of the largest areas in which systemic racism and inequities are perpetuated. Dr. Kazmierczak and WBLAS believe grades should be a measure of what a student knows and has mastered in a given course. Grading should not be a behaviour punishment and should not be a measure of how well a student can survive stress at home," the website reads.

Washington Post Erases Women — New Style Guide Says to Use 'Pregnant Individuals' Instead

Think tanks, the media, and liberal politicians are in the midst of a coordinated effort to erase associating pregnancy with women. Now, the Washington Post has updated their official style guide to replace the term “pregnant woman” with “pregnant individual.”

Travis Lyles, the Washington Post’s new “Instagram editor” leaked the big change on Twitter, before setting his account to private.

“While biology dictates who can become pregnant, it does not always reflect gender identity,” the updated style manual reads. “If we say pregnant women, we exclude those who are transgender and nonbinary.”

The newspaper is worried about excluding women, who they consider a “marginalized group,” a report from Newsbusters notes.

“However, we must take care that our efforts to be more inclusive do not come at the expense of other marginalized groups, such as women, and add to a feeling of exclusion.”

It isn’t just the media attempting to change our language to erase women from motherhood.

The Daily Caller reports that the Democrats’ $3.5 trillion spending package refers to mothers as both “pregnant” and “lactating” individuals on 11 occasions.

What if it did? Who cares? Women do not want to compete against the men in physical competitions even if the men tie their hands behind their backs. What kind of man takes pride in beating a bunch of women in a push-up competition? All these faux women are doing is ruining something, but maybe that is exactly what they want. As study confirms trans athletes have unfair advantages, university gives prize to trans athlete

It is a symptom of our stupid age that extremely obvious facts are reported as shocking news, while obvious falsehoods are reported as triumphant truths. Consider, for example, the tale of two transgender stories.

You could be forgiven for missing it — only a few outlets covered the story because it is inconvenient to the current progressive dogmas — but a report from the Sports Councils Equality Group concluded that “trans women” (that is, biological men identifying as women) have an advantage when playing in women’s sports. This is not only true in general, but also when testosterone levels have been reduced in order to level the playing field.

As the report states: “Current research indicates that testosterone suppression does not negate this physical advantage over females and so cannot guarantee competitive fairness and/or safety.”

That said, in order to ensure that transgender athletes can exercise their God-given right to play sports with whoever they want, whenever they want, the report timidly suggested that new “universal” or “open” categories be invented, so that transgender folks and in-betweenies can still play without ruining women’s sports. The report concluded that fairness in women’s sports cannot be maintained if trans athletes are allowed to compete.

The report is thorough, including a review of the latest research and interviews with 300 people and 175 organizations. It is also inconvenient for trans activists, who have been making a lot of headway in colonizing women’s sports: The International Olympic Committee (IOC) currently allows it.

In order to dodge inevitable accusations of transphobia, the report went out of the way to emphasize the apparent need for “prioritising transgender inclusion,” without explaining why this should be a priority beyond the unspoken fact that trans activists expect society to rearrange itself around their chosen gender identities.

This story, of course, is not surprising to anyone with a functioning frontal cortex or set of eyes. Biological males have distinct physical advantages, and only when trans activists started demanding that we ignore our lying eyes have we pretended that this is not the case. Instead, we are treated to insane stories like this one, out of New Zealand.

Olympic New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard — a biological man identifying (unconvincingly) as a woman — has been named “sportswoman of the year” by the University of Otago. Which means that any other female Kiwi athletes who thought they might qualify are now confronted with the fact that a big, brawny dude calling himself a woman qualifies as more of a woman than they do in the eyes of the University of Otago.

Of course, this is being touted as another great win for transgender folks, who have already won most of the magazine prizes intended for women.

On Friday, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill - AB 101 - into law that makes it mandatory for high school students to pass “ethnic studies” indoctrination courses as a part of their graduation requirements. The new law makes California the first state in the US to make learning marxist CRT ideology compulsory for teenage students to graduate.

In addition to every public school in the state, charter schools will also have to follow the new guidelines – Only Private schools are exempt from the new law – Which is very convenient for the Governor, seeing that his 4 children all attend lavish private schools.

Rules for thee but not for me.

Newsome rejected a previous version of the bill last year, but the timing must have been better now. It’s probably just a coincidence that it passed in the wake of his questionable escape in the *rigged* recall election.

The course cirriculum for these ethnic studies classes is – no surprise – a cesspool of Marxist CRT garbage. The material will be based on California’s currently in-use “model cirriculum in ethnic studies” and/or any “existing ethnic studies course” (including college-approved courses). Educators will also be able to come up with their own curriculums as long as the content is approved by their local woke school board.

Some of the anti-American lesson plans that have already been approved for high schoolers include: “#BlackLivesMatter and Social Change,” “Afrofuturism: Reimagining Black Futures and Science Fiction,” “US Undocumented Immigrants from Mexico and Beyond,” and “This is Indian Land: The Purpose, Politics, and Practice of Land Acknowledgment,” among countless others.

US had highest murder increase ‘in modern history’ amid police defunding, BLM riots last year

The U.S. experienced the highest murder rate increase “in modern history” last year amid widespread police defunding, Black Lives Matter riots, and crippling lockdown orders, according to new data from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Data released Wednesday by the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) indicated a 30% rise in homicides in 2020, the largest since at least 1905.

“It is the largest increase in 100 years,” Robert Anderson, chief of mortality statistics at NCHS, told CNN.

America’s record surge of violence came as Democrat-led cities and states across the country cut billions of dollars of funding from police budgets after the death of George Floyd in May 2020.

Last summer, New York City approved a budget shifting $1 billion from the city police department before partially backtracking as murders soared 17 percent this year. Atlanta similarly slashed corrections funding by 60 percent, and Los Angeles moved to cut $100 million-$150 million from the Los Angeles Police Department, according to pro-police group Secure America Now.

Those numbers reflect recent data from the FBI, which reported 21,500 total homicides last year, up from around 16,600 in 2019.

“Since June 2020, local leaders and activists’ increasing attacks, demoralized, debilitated, and in some cases, defunded law enforcement,” the LELDF said. “As police stepped back, violence surged.”

Nationwide police defunding also memorably occurred alongside mass rioting linked to the Marxist, pro-LGBT Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement.

The Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project, a nonprofit that tracks political violence, registered more than 500 riots associated with BLM between May and September 2020. The Black Lives Matter riots accounted for over 95 percent of violent “protests” in the United States last year and left an astounding 2,000 police officers injured.

Just the first few weeks of rioting dealt between $1 billion-$2 billion in damages, in what was the most destructive wave of political violence in decades, based on insurance claims data.

The BLM riots nevertheless won the backing of virtually the entire liberal media and top Democrats, including then-Senator Kamala Harris.

British Airways has instructed pilots and cabin crew not to refer to passengers as 'ladies and gentlemen' in an effort to celebrate 'diversity and inclusion'.

Britain's flagship carrier has abandoned the greeting in favour of more gender-neutral terms, reportedly to respect wider social norms and make children feel included.

Other major airlines, including Lufthansa, easyJet and Air Canada, have already adopted gender-neutral language.

Japan Airlines began using gender-neutral terms last year to 'create a positive atmosphere and treat everyone… with respect'.

The Australian airline Qantas launched its 'Spirit of Inclusion' initiative in 2018 to encourage staff to refrain from using gender-specific terms, while US carrier Delta Air Lines is soon to start using such greetings during onboard announcements to create 'a safe, comfortable and respectful space for all of our customers and employees'.

BA faced criticism this summer after axing the drinks trolley and instead asking short-haul, economy-class flyers to pre-order or use an app – similar to those in Wetherspoon pubs – if they want a drink.

The airline said the move was to cut down on weight and food waste, but critics have complained that the lack of personal touch was an example of the nation's flag carrier running down its services.

A BA spokesman said: 'We celebrate diversity and inclusion and we're committed to ensuring that all our customers feel welcome when travelling with us.'

California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a bill requiring public schools and colleges to stock free menstrual products — including boys’ restrooms.

The bill expands on one signed in 2017 that required free pads and tampons in schools for low-income areas.

“This bill would enact the Menstrual Equity for All Act of 2021, which would require a public school, as provided, maintaining any combination of classes from grades 6 to 12, inclusive, to stock the school’s restrooms with an adequate supply of free menstrual products, as defined, available and accessible, free of cost, in all women’s restrooms and all-gender restrooms, and in at least one men’s restroom, at all times, and to post a designated notice, on or before the start of the 2022–23 school year, as prescribed,” the bill states.

California also previously repealed a tax on menstrual products.

“Our biology doesn’t always send an advanced warning when we’re about to start menstruating, which often means we need to stop whatever we’re doing and deal with a period,” Democratic Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia said of her legislation. “Just as toilet paper and paper towels are provided in virtually every public bathrooms, so should menstrual products.”

Josh Hawley grilled the Deputy AG today over the memorandum which mobilized the FBI to begin involving itself in school board meetings using the excuse of ‘threats’:

The deputy AG continually deflected, saying the memo is just about violence. But Hawley pointed out it goes further than just violence, saying it’s also telling the FBI to intervene regarding what they are calling intimidation and harassment.

But I think the bigger point that Hawley was trying to make is that typically, the FBI might be called in after a threat of violence has already happened. But in this case the FBI is being told to be proactive, before there are any threats of violence, which is why this feels so wrong. All in the name of CRT.

Earlier this week, The Daily Wire published a shocking investigative piece that exposes the sickening attempt by Loudoun County Schools to bury the brutal sexual assault of a 9th-grade student in a shameless attempt to preserve the Left’s radical agenda in schools.

The male ‘transgender’ offender was reportedly wearing a dress when he raped the girl in the lady’s bathroom at Stone Bridge High School. The school district’s policy allows male students to use the girl’s bathroom and vice versa.

Not only did the school officials cover up the incident to ‘prevent controversy over their transgender policy,’ but they also arrested and prosecuted the girl’s father after he tried to sound the alarm at a school board meeting.

On June 22, Scott Smith joined hundreds of other outraged parents at a Loudoun County school board meeting to speak out on behalf of his daughter. The meeting was eventually deemed an “unlawful assembly” by the board members, and Smith was one of two people who were arrested that day.

Smith was attempting to tell the board that his 14-year-old daughter had been raped in the girl’s bathroom by a boy wearing a skirt, but when another person at the meeting – a local leftist activist – interrupted and told him that she didn’t believe his daughter, he shouted back at her. That’s when a police officer grabbed him by the arm and arrested him.

The incident went viral, but his daughter’s story remained buried.

Following Smith’s arrest, the county charged Smith and prosecuted him.

After hearing part of Smith’s cut-off testimony, the county's superintendent – Scott Ziegler – claimed that the outrage over new transgender policies was “unreasonable” because the school district had “no record of a sexual assault ever taking place in a school bathroom.”

Thanks to what the Daily Wire calls a ‘false statement by the superintendent,’ the new transgender policy was approved by the board and passed after the meeting concluded.

“A school policy passed following what appear to be false statements from the superintendent – a policy whose passage would have been politically impossible had Smith’s story seen the light of day.”

The brutal assault was able to be hidden for so long because the school tirelessly worked to conceal the incident for months. They made every effort to avoid getting law enforcement involved in the investigation, telling Smith that they would handle everything “in-house.” They also lied about the assault when communicating with other parents at the school by describing it as “something out of the ordinary.”

Loudoun County School District Breaks Silence on Transgender Sexual Assault Case

Loudoun County Public Schools responded Wednesday to a bombshell report that it covered up a sexual assault perpetrated by a “gender fluid” male student in the girls’ bathroom.

The victim’s father, Scott Smith, was arrested during a school board meeting in June before he could describe what had happened to his daughter. In a statement released Wednesday, the district claimed that the school board was ignorant of the details at the time of the meeting and only learned of the alleged rape through the Daily Wire's recent report.

At meeting Tuesday night, over 60 outraged parents and students confronted the Loudoun County school board to demand that it fire the superintendent and then resign as a panel in the wake of the sexual assault development, Fox News reports.

“This is not China, this is the United States of America, and we will not be silenced,” a mother exclaimed. “Remove the superintendent immediately and then resign for your negligence and duplicity. End this nightmare!”

Other parents shared her sentiment, declaring that the progressive-dominated school board and superintendent acted irresponsibly in pushing and passing the gender inclusion measure and are culpable for the sexual abuses that have transpired in the aftermath.
