>>No, but they CAN be used to kill humans so it's ironic that they still sell them while banning violent video games.<<

Got no problem with "ironic" since that quality is entirely in the eye of the beholder.

Continuing to sell sporting goods that didn't cause or even contribute to the El Paso tragedy was IMO just a reasonable business decision.

I do agree with others who think banning certain video games was a public relations stunt to appease demand that they look concerned about violence.

Wouldn't be surprised if those types of games are back on Walmart shelves in a year or two.

You're wasting your time, arguing with a troll.  Trolls gonna troll as long as they get a response.

Bet Walmart in Norway doesn't sell guns either, but that didn't keep a nut job in that country from killing 77 Norwegians.

Problem is we don't just produce one or two of these loonies, we produce way too many of them, a seemingly inexhaustible supply.

Yes it's too easy for people who shouldn't be let near a squirt gun to get a deadly weapon.  But addressing that won't fix the underlying problem.

I can see that anybody here who questions majority opinion (in this case "shame on Walmart") will be labeled a "troll" or "silly" or worse.

Such dismissive attitude toward anyone they disagree with seems to be a trademark response of narrow-minded minions on both the right and left.

No need to continue with this thread.

Dude, you couldn't frame a decent argument, if your life depended on it.

Majority opinion.... I get if you were marching in a band & you were out of step, you'd claim everyone else was out of step.

You're a classic silly, troll, now FO

Okay I'm done trying to defend Wally World policy so I will FO as you requested.  But funny you mentioned the above.

I was once in a situation where only one person was supposedly on the instructed step and everybody else had it wrong.

At least that was according to the DI asshole who would never even consider the possibility maybe he made a mistake.

Regardless, every one of us including the one who got it "right" had to do the same push-ups.  That's how life works.

Good analogy BlueManDude.  Have a great day.

Of course the WalMart shooter used a copy of a real assault weapon that has not been sold in WalMart for quite a few years.  Your argument that the WalMart shooter used a WalMart gun is weird.
