This has nothing to do with polymer but I'm hoping to maybe help you not waste your money.  We bought one of those Schticky brand pet hair removal systems from  It worked great for 3 days then all the sticky was gone rendering the thing useless.  I emailed the Schticky company who said..they can't help I have to call them.  So I called about an hour ago.  I got this guy who said TWICE that Schticky will NOT stand behind its product because I bought it from Amazon.  I made him repeat it for me and he did willingly.  If I had bought it from them, they'd send me a replacement as long as I sent them another 8 or 9 dollars for postage.  So, friends, please do NOT waste your money on this terrible product and please tell everyone you know!  I wrote the story on my blog if you're interested.  Thanks!

You should contact Amazon and they will give you a full refund including return shipping
I once had an amazon issue and they were very good about hearing me out and resolving the issue

I'm surprised that you didn't tell them where to schtick their Schticky!

I love the 'shipping and handling' charges that cost more than the product, don't you?  I won't buy if they won't tell me ahead of final check out what the shipping costs.

Had it been someone other than the poor schlub talking to customers, I would have told them.  :)  But, it wasn't that guy's fault.  He was just the guy answering calls.

We didn't have any shipping because it came from Amazon.  The shipping they wanted was so they could ship you a replacement...that's AFTER you paid to send it back then you paid again to get a replacement for their faulty product.  I hope nobody ever buys another one.  ;(

you've probably already done so, but I would certainly write a review on Amazon in addition to your blog post. I always read those reviews!

Thanks, Betsy and you're right, I already did that.  I'll probably have Loudmouth Vince and the entire Schticky crew show up with pitchforks at my door one day.  :)

Bummer, what a shame. Thanks for the warning. I've used a lint/pet hair remover called "PikUpStik" by Sunshine Industries for years and I love it. When it gets full and is no longer sticky you just "place mild liquid soap on the roller, massage it into the roller with your hands, rinse with warm water and allow to air dry. Must be kept out of direct sunlight and extreme heat."
