Very nice doggy sculpture and the color and shading is a nice touch. You can be very proud of yourself.

This is my first attempt at trying to post to TAW. Thanks so much Eva and please advise if I have completely missed the boat here. :-)

New mold: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/111534528251110418/

Molded nest with eggs and branch and two molded leaf clusters. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/111534528251110425/

I did not make all of these this week, it took a long time to sculpt all of the parts for the mold but, when they were complete, I put them all together on a slab of clay on Tuesday and the mold was poured yesterday. After it was pulled I reviewed the mold today and molded the nest in three colors of clay tonight. After it bakes and cools I'll do some antiquing to bring out the lights and darks.

Thank you, Jackie...if it does get put in a drawer it won't be mine...its going to my daughter, Bonnie. She totally appreciates my polymer creations :) Wish she lived closer so we could still clay together. My other daughter seems to like my stuff too but I never see them once they go to her house. She loves to scrapbook so we did some of that this weekend when she visited.

Well...thank you! The sort of reminds me of a poppy field. For some reason I have been just crazy about bright colors and combinations recently.

I'm not sure which boat you refer to...but I'd say you didn't miss it at all! This looks like a fun project...the molds are really nice. So, you made the molds too? Just a bit confused about that part. I'm so glad you have joined us here! Hope to see your project all finished one day.

Wow, PJ, that is a totally cool bird mold! I love it, so cute with the nest and leaves and branches. Nice work there, as always. So when is that one going to be ready to go?
